« Very nice wine tasting. Mrs Clara Horseman took all the time and gave great explanation about all the wines we tasted. And the wines are very nice to. I am very glad that we also live in Escales, so we are able to taste and drink the wines more often. And visit the chateau with friends and family. »

« Stumbled across Domaine Gaujal. SO HAPPY we did! The wines are gorgeous. The winemaker's wife did the tasting and explained all the wines. She was so engaging and spoke great English, which was helpful with our limited French! Would highly recommend stopping off and buying a selection of more interesting Picpoul than many others. »
« This place is great for a relaxing weekend! The room is tidy and comfy, there's AC inside. The place feels very private, there's the pool and the jacuzzi just for guests. The garden is so charming ❤️ Out breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Special thanks for the host who is extremely friendly and lovely! »

« We enjoyed a 3 course menu de jour. Great food and wonderful service including some unexpected bonuses: towels to clean hands before and after eating. Fine setting next to the river. Aperitifs and wine and between 4 about e30 each. Good value. I'd recommend it. »

« Really great experience here over the last 2 weeks with my family including 3 kids. We were welcomed every day and the staff were so friendly and had no issues reserving beds for us daily. Can’t wait to come back next year!! Thanks to Michel & all the staff! »

« Lovely with waterfall and fish in the pond. Had booked for 18 people for a celebration, had photo on my phone of menu to share but when ordering was told lamb not available, almost all of us wanted to order this so a bit of a disappointment. Not sure if we will return, shame as it is a lovely place. »
