GAUJAL SIMONNE

Stumbled across Domaine Gaujal. SO HAPPY we did! The wines are gorgeous. The winemaker's wife did the tasting and explained all the wines. She was so engaging and spoke great English, which was helpful with our limited French! Would highly recommend stopping off and buying a selection of more interesting Picpoul than many others.

Visited with family of six. One of the best wine tasting experiences ever (and I’ve tasted all over France, Italy, California, Australia). Super knowledgeable 10 th generation owner who went over in detail the history of the place and exactly what made each wine special. I would give this experience 6 stars if I could. If you visit just don’t be in a rush. If you want to zip in and out, this isnt the place for you: our tasting took 2 hours

Good Picpoul wines, they have some special cuvées that are just that bit better and more interesting than the normal picpoul they make at other chateaus. Very friendly service.

Very nice and professional presentation of vines

Wir haben unseren Picpoul heute zu einem thailändischen Hühnercurry genossen. Die feine Acidität des Picpoul und die dezente Schärfe des Currys haben sich perfekt ergänzt. Picpoul kann ganz klassisch zu Meeresfrüchten und Fisch kombiniert werden. Er ist auch eine spannende Begleitung für Curries.

Excellence de Ludovic nous aura accompagné avec bonheur pour les fêtes de fin d'année sur nos entrées marines. En attente de notre prochaine visite à la cave.
