We stayed in apartment #1 and could not be happier with our stay. The apartment is beautiful with some of the most comfy beds we’ve ever slept in. I had trouble getting my kids out of them. The kitchen is well equipped with brand new appliances. The location is superb - right in the heart of the town with bars, restaurants, shopping, and ski lifts all within walking distance. It’s super convenient to park the car below and take the elevator right up to the apartment. The kitchen and living room has plenty of room for cooking or family dinners or cozy nights by the fireplace. They even include unlimited firewood if that’s your thing. There’s a lovely outdoor terrace for lounging with a spectacular view over the mountains. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and our amazing family holiday!! I’m not sure what the other reviews here mean when they say the service wasn’t up to par. It must have been during Covid or something because ours was just perfect. We were here for the summer and enjoyed biking, hiking, climbing, swimming, mini golf, and the cuisine. We are already planning to come back here to Apt #1 for the winter season for some skiing.
If i could give no stars I would. Our stay was ruined by theft and Alpine Resorts lack of care and responsibility. We stayed for a family holiday and were robbed on our last day, cash stolen from a locked safe, access through a locked apartment door, no damage to either. Thank goodness no one was in the apartment at the time, we had instances during the week when a member of our party had some time off the mountain. Clearly someone with a key for the door and and an "over-ride" key for the safe. Who would have access to those two keys? Hardly "5 star" luxury experience! Alpine resorts will only offer a discount for a future booking as recompense. There are many other places to stay, choose wisely is my advice.
As much as I would love to give 5 stars to this accomodation, I'm afraid the service just isn't up to standard yet, and leaves a lot to be desired. They promised us cleaning mid-week, which we never received, and they withheld a €2,000 deposit for weeks and ended up charging us €100 for extra cleaning although the place was left spotless - we even did all the dishes before leaving. I still don't have an answer to my email asking about a refund. Beautiful lodge, poor customer experience.
