AIX - BORD DU LAC - 4

Esplanade du Lac runs as a walkable ribbon along Lac du Bourget, held between Grand Port and Petit Port. To the north, Grand Port points back to Port de Puer, where goods, salt and local freight once came ashore before the harbour became pleasure-boating territory. To the south, Petit Port gives the line its smaller leisure harbour, with moorings and lakeside rentals drawing use towards the water. The link between them was made by Boulevard du Lac, built partly into the lake as a dyke-promenade. Along this continuous shore, boats, hire craft, walkers and families now share the same edge, with old freight movement and present-day lake leisure compressed into one public Aix-les-Bains strip.

Un petit port de plaisance fort sympathique avec 2 restaurants au bord de l'eau. Un endroit bien calme avec une petite plage familiale. Bel endroit

Area verde molto ampia proprio sulla riva del lago di Bourget. Bellissimo il lungo viale alberato che costeggia il lago. Numerosi parcheggi nelle vicinanze.

promenade "au fil de l'eau", beau décor mais gâché par le bruit des voitures, camions.... trop de circulation!!
