« Holy place. You can sit and pray either in one of the churches or in front of the grotto. I took water in a bottle from the tap. You can buy bottles from the store near the gate or from any shop on the street. Candles are available for 4 euros and 8 euros on the way to the grotto »

« A must do when in Lourdes. The view is amazing. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. After you reach the top, you can hike a little further to the very top by the cross. It was so peaceful I fell asleep and got a little sun. You can hike your way back down or even bike down if you choose. »

« This is a 6 story hotel with an excellent location next to the Gave de Pau river. Very clean bathrooms and their breakfast is good and well worth staying in the hotel instead of eating outside. A portion of the room rate is donated to the sanctuary. We had a pleasant experience and highly recommend this hotel. »
