RESIDENCE MILLAUD

It is a decent student residence which is near to many universities. The furniture and equipments of the place are not the best quality but in usable condition. A major drawback is that it is 40 minutes away from Lyon and the nearest grocery store available is 20 minutes by walk/10 minutes by bus. It is recommended for affordable and short stays.

Le Drakkar is a good student residence, if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The staff of the residence is always willing to help you, whenever there’s a problem. The room where I stayed was completely equipped with everything necessary to live: good bed, bathroom, closet, even kitchen utensils. The unfortunate thing about this residence might be the roommates with who you share the kitchen and common places, because some people are definitely not willing to clean and be organized. Besides that, I would recommend Le Drakkar to live for a few months as a student, even more if you study in a university located in Écully.

A wonderful place to live in - close to universities and a hypermarket (groceries for cheaper prices than you'll get in the city). Student friendly, and probably the most affordable. Being away from the city isn't a hassle because C6 buses are frequent and only a 4 min walk away. I met some of my closest friends here, so I would definitely recommend it.

This is my most sincere opinion. The place is very nice, it is surrounded by nature. The apartment is okay. However, the day I entered in it was incredibly dirty (spiders in the sofa and around the house, and a LOT of dust). Some equipment was broken and it took forever for the staff to repair it (if they repaired it). Now the most negative thing: the staff. The guardian is old and not very reactive but a good person. No member of the staff speaks English and this is a real shame! The student house is very close to many universities and it is obvious that many international students live there. The foreigners hadn’t any chance to communicate with the staff if not through some French people that came to help. How is this possible?

It's been a good experience at Le Drakkar Student Housing. It is extremely close to several universities and quite accessible to the nearby Shopping Centre, which is only a bus ride away. This student housing would be a perfect fit for students who study at the nearby universities. The rent is cheaper than most places in the area. The only drawback is that it is 40 minutes away from the City Centre, but that seems to be alright as it compensates for it, as it is located at a serene spot.

Had a great séjour here. Although the place was a bit dusty at the beginning but the rest was fine. Madame Gabriella Bol. was super nice, she was the one handing me the keys and was always available to answer our questions… She really took the time to explain every situation we were encountering and tried to help at her best. And honestly she made my séjour here bearable. Since she is leaving soon, I wish her all the best in her career💕

I really appreciate to visit the residence last year. The residence was clean and the roommates seems very kind. Unfortunately I have to stay in China to finish my studies. Thank you Mr Kodo!

Had a really nice stay at the Drakkar student accommodation in Ecully. The coordinator Ms Gabriella was really helpful in all my situations since shifting for my studies from India. Would totally recommend for any student looking for a nice cheap accommodation for rent in long term near Ecully !
