We stopped by to look at several bags on display, but the experience was disappointing. The owner wasn’t very friendly from the start, repeatedly warning us that the bags were “too expensive” and insisting we be very careful touching them before even allowing us to view them. The store’s prices were about 30% higher than those at authorized retailers like Rebag for same bags in same condition. When I nicely asked why her bags were so much more expensive than exactly the same bag of the same excellent quality at Rebag, she told me to leave, saying she has “better clients” willing to pay more.

I never write reviews unless it is to praise someone or somewhere, BUT I feel I have no choice but to write a BAD review for the first time ever, above all to help other people so that this does not happen to them. This shop sells FAKES and it seems that I am not their first victim!!! They sold me a fake Loewe bag, while even looking me in the eyes and saying how it would be illegal for them to sell fakes and that it was definitely a real Loewe. I have friends who work in Madrid at Loewe and sadly they took one look at my bag and said this is not a Loewe bag and proceeded to closely examine it and gave me a very long list of all the reasons why. Every year I visit Biarritz at least once and so on my next trip I shall be returning the fake Loewe bag and obtaining a refund. I will keep you all informed about how this next and final visit to this shop goes. But meanwhile I want to warn you all not to buy in this shop or at least to be extremely careful!!!!

I LOVED coming in here. I came for a full male wardrobe, and with Veronique helping, I got amazing clothes for a great price and had a great time in the process. Fantastic shop with only the highest quality pieces. Highest recommendation.

This beautiful Biarritz vintage store (and its owners) could not be more fabulous! Highly recommend for excellent quality luxury brand clothing and accessories. I found a gorgeous Sonia Rykiel bag in excellent condition and for a very fair price; my boyfriend bought some extremely cool pants. The owners, who are so delightful and who personally curate the shop and work there full time--which makes it so lovely and personal--told us they only consign with "nice people." The beautiful clothing and accessories they sell--including some stunning new jewelry--has good juju, like them! Ten stars for Harold & Maude!

It’s official: Harold & Maude is my very favourite shop in Biarritz! Too bad I discovered it only on my last day before leaving, but I’ll be back. The 2 ladies in the shop were warm and welcoming. They’re super fun and quirky, makes you feel relaxed. The shop offers a wonderful selection of 2nd hand designer clothes from various a-list brands, at very reasonable prices. I like their no-nonsense approach, unlike all other shops close by in Biarritz that I went to, they don’t try to “over-sell” you pieces you don’t feel 100% sure about. Highly recommended!

I purchased 2 Chanel bags. It’s fake. And I wanted to return it 10 minutes after. They refused and told me that after I bought it it’s my problem. Told me if I don’t like it I can give it to someone or re sell it. I spent a lot money. Told me it’s real. It’s fake. Do not buy it from them.

I absolutely fell in love with this consignment shop. They have absolute treasures from Jean Paul Gaultier to vintage Chanel. Couldn’t recommend more for lovers of vintage pieces.

What a delight! Lovely patrons who have unique style and are so welcoming. Unique select pieces with a range of prices. I found a couple special pieces. Highly recommend
