Convinient, comfortable, clean and cheap! Perfect for a stopover on a long drive. Plenty of parking. Friendly receptionists. Dog friendly. Comfortable bed (for price). We were impressed by how comfortable and clean it all was - looked newly decorated. There’s a massive Burger King next door for easy food if that suits you. BE AWARE. Loos and showers are communal, not in room - you just get a sink. Towels, soap etc are not included. This is why they charge so little. Just good to know in advance.
Room was smaller than expected. Noisy at night with people using the shared toilets and bathroom
The room, toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Check in easy. Great for a driving stop over.||Short drive or 20 min walk from the old town. Nice river, park and places to eat. Follow the ‘perched cat’ walking route around the old town to see the points of interest.
The offer letter showed 37€ per night, but these are cheap rooms without shower and toilet. You can also book rooms with shower/toilet but everything costs extra toilets, shower, towels and breakfast. But so far very clean. For one night to rest it is enough. We paid 59€ for 2 people with breakfast.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, I had a positive experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the majority of the hotel was well-maintained and clean. However, there were a couple of issues that I encountered during my stay. One of the notable concerns was with the shower. Upon entering, I found a puddle of murky water in the shower, which was a bit off-putting. It seemed like the drain might need some attention, as this made the shower experience less pleasant. Additionally, there was a super strong smell of detergent (I assume) that permeated the bedroom. Unfortunately, it was so overpowering that it made the entire room smell like a garbage area. This was quite unpleasant and detracted from my overall comfort during my stay. Despite these issues, the hotel's friendly staff and overall cleanliness did leave a positive impression. It's my hope that the hotel management can address these concerns to enhance the overall guest experience.
Good place to stay when traveling by car. Plenty of parking, easy to find and get back on the road. Pets friendly)
Just arrived with family for one night. My wife paid 105 Euro. One of the rooms the code didn’t work the other room was really hot and very basic. We were told the other room didn’t have a toilet. We politely went back to reception to say sadly this wasn’t suitable to get a refund but were refused. I asked for a note to confirm that we hadn’t used the room as the receptionist said we would have to send an email to his manager asking for a refund. The receptionist would not give us his name as reference and would also not allow us to speak with the manger and said we should just email and his manager would decide if to refund or not. It was clear that there was no intention to give us our money back. We left 105 euro lighter and would strongly advise people not to make the same mistake.
You get what you pay for, I guess. It's more of a hostel than a hotel, which is fine since it's fairly cheap. However, I've been to hotels which were far more pleasant and only cost slightly more. The employee we talked to was generally unfriendly and also reacted in a very condescending manner when we asked him to repeat what he said. Our French is quite decent, but if speaking more slowly is that much of an inconvenience, we would also have been more than happy to communicate in English. (We visited in late August.)
