Reasonably comfortable stay spoiled by Evening Dinners being served on small plastic tables in the bar area instead of the more comfortable dining room with proper tables and table cloths. Breakfasts struck me as being done " on the cheap" with not as much variety as usual and when e.g. pain au rasins basket was emptied it was never refilled. Also I was using the hotel to visit my husband at the local hospital. He was admitted as an emergency and I left the hospital at 10:30 at night with a half hour walk in the dark to get to Ibis Styles. I phoned the hotel who refused to call me a taxi(I an English and 73 years old and live in Orthez and I do not drive). Staff on the whole were helpful and pleasant ( except for the refusal to call a taxi). Hotel was clean but very much needs redecoration. I have stayed three times at the hotel for about a week at a time in the last two years and I have the sense that it has "gone downhill" a bit. This is a pity because the location is beautiful.

We stayed here when our camping car broke down in France 🇫🇷 The hotel was lovely, as we're the staff! Breakfast was very good but the actual restaurant was closed as the chef and server were having a well deserved vacation.

Outdated hotel - half price would be more correct - welcome drink not even a glass of 'ordinary local wine = n-welcome - smelling cigaretes in the room and the toilet -

Centrally located. The hotel doesn't have its own carpark though there is one close by and plenty of on street parking. Very helpful management, especially when we found our booking was for next year! Thankfully they had space. A smallish room with a small balcony with a view of the river and casino. A good breakfast. An older style hotel that's obviously had a recent refit. As with most Accor group hotels, some interesting designer furniture and fittings. Use an up to date satnav as the current roadworks and restrictions in Dax aren't helpful. Though obviously hardly the hotels fault.

The room was for a family of 3, the sofa bed wasn't set and I couldn't figure out how to open it, and it looked like it wasn't used in a long while. Someone from the reception visit to open the sofa, and the person didn't find it easy to open either. No parking at the hotel, but we were lucky that we arrived and left when street parking was free (but it was difficult to find any free spots). The room was small and looked really outdated but adequate for a sleep-over. Toilet and shower room separate, not sure this setup is very hygienic since you need to open doors before being able to wash your hands. This is actually something I've seen in the past in other accommodations in France. It is beautifully located near the river, but on the other hand it is located by a casino and music was playing loudly until late hours. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but it was adequate. I must admit that the bread was fantastic, but a big variety was not on the menu. Overall it was adequate for the price but lower quality from other IBIS hotels.

Stayed for 1 night at the hotel with our dog whilst moving from the UK to Spain. We parked at Chanzy which has barriers and hence provided a small level of safety. The staff were really helpful, in the morning they filled our water bottles, we had a tasty takeaway breakfast of pastries and coffee. The room was comfortable, only dropped one star because the bathroom had a funny smell (like cigarettes or from the nearby pool). We didn't complain to the staff at the time as we only stayed one night, and overall it suited our needs very well.

Nice hotel, reception desk very welcoming. Staff very helpful and friendly. Too bad there's not a dedicated parking.

Marie and Chloe are a great person to deal with. I will recommend them as a point of contact during the stay. They are nice and respectful and decent. You will face the real way of being A VIP here. Hotel is clean, tidy and it has great view. I recommend the place to have a rest from the hard life.
