Avis
Compared with other campsites we have visited this site could do with some tlc. One shower block was closed as it was mid June, and the second had shared male and female showers and toilets as the male section was closed. The chemical toilet disposal area was a good 10 mins walk away, not so easy if you are elderly or walking difficulties. We didn't use the showers or toilets as they weren't very clean, and if you're not comfortable sharing facilities it can be a bit off putting. On the positive side the staff on the reception were very friendly upon arrival.
Ok campsite, friendly staff, ok sanitary facilities which are old but clean (no toilet seats seem to be normal in France), trees and benchens available. Bad is the railway next to the site and the highway which can be loud now and then. Very close to supermarket. The rest is easily accessable by car. ok for a one night stay in my opinion. less interesting for families with children.
34 €. With power and two dogs. Stayed one night. Toilets, no seats, no paper, no cleaning. Shower cold. WLAN 13€. Was our mistake. Graywater and toilet for camping car never seen a cleaning in it's live.
We arrived half an hour late at another campsite, (Stoneham at Le Touquet) and were unable to gain entry. A couple of hours later we arrived at La Pinede to find a friendly warm welcome. We were offered baguettes and croissants for the following morning and a great place to park our campervan. The facilities were excellent and our one night stay was the perfect last night to our time in France. Cannot recommend it more highly.
Only stayed one night as we are on route to Spain. Reception staff were a delight, happy, smiley and very helpful. Pitches are nice with plenty of shade but quite close together. Estuary/beach not as close as expected and a train line is very close. Facilities only average, no hot water for washing dishes. I wouldn't stay again.
Booked to stay for 4 nights as it looked peaceful and in a great location. ||The site in well kept, has plenty of showers and BBQ to use, nicely spaced pitches and is positioned in a good place to explore Etaples and Le Touquet.||We found the campsite quite easily as it is on the main road. There is a supermarket within walking distance.||We were able to choose our own pitch so we picked 94, it was close to the shower block and away from the main road.||There was quite a lot of noise from ducks ( not moaning), trains which travel very close to the site and aircraft ( Airport at Le Touquet across the river), als from what we think is bird scarer's which sounds like shot guns going off a lot during the day and occasionally at night.||A nice sight with a kids play park and a little snackbar/restaurant/bar onsite which serves food and drinks from 6.30pm.|| We wouldn't return in a tent due to the noise but I am sure it would be fine for caravans and camper vans.||There wasn't many campers, the site was quite empty which was a suprise as a lotof others in the area were fully booked.
We chose this site as a final stop due to its relative proximity to Calais. Arrived at the site to find a welcoming staff member in reception who spoke great English. Only cost just over €20 for two adults and a child. Was told I could choose any pitch I wanted, and due to being late October there was plenty to choose from as the site was very quiet. The pitches were wide and flat with electricity conveniently located.||||The campsite is only a short drive from nearby towns and attractions, with a War cemetery right next to it. ||||Toilets were clean and in great condition, but the automatic light switches off very quickly so you'll need to do a dance while on the toilet! Male showers were closed (guessing to being quiet) and females were used as unisex. The showers were spacious and clean but they would switch off very quickly.||||The only small drawback from this site was it being located right next to a train track causing some noise. ||||I will definitely use this site again if visiting the region in the future.
We started our tour of France here and the site is big enough for loads of motorhomes. You can talk with John an English lad who looks after the maintenance of the site, he's a good lad and will put you right on many things to do with camping and the local area. |We stayed for two nights 20 euros per night with electricity. |They do have a bar but the restaurant wasn't open while we were there. |Got murdered by mosquitoes on the second night. |Good value for the money but we are currently staying at camping le balcon de chartreuse near grenoble and they have much more on offer for the same cost!!!!!|Check this out.
