The sheets were only clean cuz they outsourced the cleaning to another company who does the job well. For this price, you need to put your own sheets and set up your own bed, AND still have to send it downstairs (didn’t seem mandatory but encouraged). My ceiling walls were peeling, my bunk bed frame made of cold metal, and the tap was hard to control — water kept flowing out even if we pressed the knob lightly. I slept well on the first night but on the second, homeless people were screaming and harassing a girl, woke my roommates up and we weren’t sure if we should call the police. You’re better off another hostel. Breakfast variety was ok.

It was a very pleasant stay in this old building with character. Seeted in the middle of the historic city in short walking distance to the station. it was very easy too reach all the places of interest. The team was very friendly and helpful. Good vibes!

This hostel is by no means a luxury hostel, and is not up to the standards of German or Swiss hostels, but it is well appointed with all the needs and requirements that any budget traveller would need. The hostel is within walking distance of the Avignon SNCF train station. This hostel's greatest attraction is it is right in the middle of the tourist zone. Walk out the door and there are the restaurants, tourist attractions, and lots of other shops.

Je voudrais remercier tout le staff (mes amis) chez Hi Avignon! They looked after me very well during my stay and even stored my luggage for a few days (gratis) when I wasn't there. Nice, easy going atmosphere in the beautiful vieille ville d'Avignon... Un grand merci a toute l'equipe. I'll be back! Meilleures amities, Patrick

Great location! Pretty clean. Breakfast is nice but lacks vegan options (like all hostels ✨maybe add hummus and vegetables to the Buffet✨). Overpriced!! The upper bunk beds didn‘t have any Outlets. Generally speaking there were only 3 Outlets and 2 lockers for 4 people. Male staff doesn’t speak any english. Check-In only at 4pm (usually its 3pm so thats pretty late, especially for that price).

Excellent location on the main street, 10 minutes from the station and very close to the city center. Everything is clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Booking presents it as a hotel, but it's actually a hostel, which could cause confusion if you have to share the room with other people without your consent. At night, it's very noisy from the street, making sleeping difficult. The breakfast is very poor, with very few, if any, sweet items. Very good value for money, I recommend it.

Pros: -centrally located -able to check in early -room to myself. Cons: -clean only means clean linen and open a window. Hasn't seen the use of a vacuum or mop in God knows how long. -needs a deep clean and a lot of maintenance, including the bedroom locks that all look broken but luckily function. -1 shower of 4 has wash, 2 have hooks the others were all missing -mixed gender bathrooms ONLY It's €30 per night and only worth about €15. I've stayed in many in France and Europe that have been cheaper and far superior, or had the basics at least. Is a "youth hostel" in the very sense, clearly as ONLY a youth hostel, suited to large groups of people (e.g. schools) with less cares.

I lived in a single room in this hostel. It is clean and spacious, but in need of some basic furniture like a desk and chair. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The location is excellent as it lies between the railway and bus stations and the city centre.
