Thanks for your nice welcome ! We tried many wines and went home with plenty of bottles. The wine tasting was well presented and had a nice personal touch. They even gave a nice suggestion for a lovely local wine bar.
Wonderful setting and quality wines. For some reason unknown they were "closed" for drinking, only open for tasting. A pity, considering the nice courtyard. Tasting was soulless, just a job, not a passion. The place has so much potential. A shame really how it is managed.
Different wines are available to taste each week. No charge, though if you're looking to buy wine then I expect you'll find one you like from the tastings. (The Tourist Info and attached museum, in the same building as the wine house, are closed Mon & Tues.)
Merveilleux! Truly special. Bought four cases. We tasted several of the reds and a wonderful dessert wine made with the Loin de l'oeil grape. Highly recommended for some regional specialty.
