Very, very good. ❤️ We arrived early, based on the recommendations. As a result, it was quiet, which gave us more time to read about the Chateau and its history. Following the Chateau, we explored to exhibitions in the grounds, all of which were well worth the visit. It was super-hot when we visited, but if you have similar weather conditions, there are lots of shaded areas to stop and cool down. The outdoor exhibitions are equally as wonderful as the indoor ones.
Very unassuming but a great place place. Had the most amazing ice cream here...must try the Amaretto cherry flavour ice cream...to die for! This museum was so knowledgeable. I enjoyed every minute.
The place is magical. The kids loved the trail and going through the activity sheet. We spend there around 2+ hours and loved the gardens/park and the galleries. You can learn a lot in here and experience a little - great activity for both adults and kids. The house/castle was ledd of an interest - especially as we live in London and saw a tons of those. We did not wait in line but when we left there was quite a queue.
What an amazing place! So much to see & so interesting. The gift shop was also a delight, selling lots of toy model kits of Da Vinci’s works. Absolutely delightful!
Wow! Have been wanting to do this trip for so long. It was well worth the wait! Four hours spent in the mind of a pure genius. The drawings, models and even a hologram really made you feel like you were there. The site offers everything including restaurants, snack bars and a picnic area. Out of this world, we enjoyed every minute and didn't see the time go by. Well done everyone who makes this possible. Next time we're coming with the grandkids!
Historicaly incredible. Where Leonardo da Vinci lived his last years of life, and where he died. Very full of Leonardo da Vinci history, the whole castle and domain show you his world, his work. It’s a must !
Very interesting to see the bedroom and workshops of the master. The immersive "painter" room is not to be missed for lovers of oil paintings. Lots of things to see. But the ticket price is not on the low side.
Beautiful chateau. Loved the extremely well maintained castle. Amazing to see the bed and bedroom where Leonardo died.
