Wonderful breads and cakes,in a wonderful old mill
Amazing place, very good bread and sables!
Just beautiful. We tried the cakes and everything was delicious.
Used to be the bomb. Now the place is run down and the gateau basque taste worse than supermarket ones. Pretty sure it was at least a day or two old. All things must pass.
Excellent food. Great value Excellent service. Child frendly with plenty of outdoor space so as not to disturb other guests. Will highly recommend for lunch.
The food is very good I recommended the gateau basque but we would like a smile from the saleswoman.
Moulin de Bassilour is one of the old flour grinders. Watergate was opened to turn the mill and grind the seed in flour. An ideal place to stop off for the Basque cake and very good Bagguet. We have friendly service. The lady on the counter has shown us the traditional machine and turn on the system for her guests. Find people walking with a dog around the track nearby. A great place to experience France's traditional lifestyle.
No seats to eat in place, no toilets or place to change a baby, no coffee or hot beverages, no debt card to pay accepted…
