We visited Château de Chantilly with the kids and loved it! The château is gorgeous, especially the gardens and the big stables with the horses and equestrian show. The kids had a great time running around the grounds and seeing the animals (even wallabies!). We also tried the famous crème Chantilly — so good! Plenty to see and do, though wear comfy shoes for all the walking. Perfect day trip from Paris. Highly recommend for families!

Absolutely brilliant. Easy to get to from Paris. A lovely walk from train station. This is so worth your time. The grounds, the history, the art...all amazing and, at times, surprising. They have 3 Raphaels! And 2 Titans! The grounds i could wander every day and find something to delight and amaze.

Spectacular ! Well worth the visit ! I visited many chateaus in France but this is my absolute favourite. The rich history, along with the fully decorated interior, expansive gardens makes it truly a superb place to visit. There are bike and cart hires as the garden is huge and you will almost need it as it’s too big to visit on foot. The interior as you can see from the photos, absolutely marvellous - so many paintings, decorations etc and it’s air conditioned !

Such an amazing place, unlike Versailles it is not crowded to the point you can't move. The Castle itseld is gorgeous as well as its interiors. The gardens are a haven of peace and it was a day very well spent.

Stunning buildings, incredible gardens and stables. And location itself. A pearl to explore north of Paris. Dedinitely worth the stop on our way back to Amsterdam. Place where Chantilly was first made. The only thing I would like differently is to make it a more immersive tour focussed on evolution of the castle rather than descriptions and names of objects.

Easy to go to. RER D will take you from the city to the city of Chantilly. The chateau has a lot of Italian and french arts, the decor is also amazing. When I was there they had a plants festival, it was a great surprise. I had a lot of fun visiting the chateau and exploring booths at the festival. Strongly recommended!(Cream Chantilly is also a must try!)

Beautiful castle only 50km from Paris. It is surrounded by water and looks amazing. The museum inside is very interesting and beautifully decorated during events. The park is not as magnificent as others but still invites for a nice walk. Definitly worth the visit! Note that your regular ticket also includes entry to the large horse stable next to the castle.

What an absolute marvel this château! In impeccable state and condition, beautifully located on green grassy setting and surrounded by a moat. Featuring an impressive art collection by Henry D'Aumale née Henry D'Orléans. The interior of the château is rich in architectural and design details. The decor is out of this world too. This should be a must see when in Paris and surroundings.
