Good menu of mostly classic French dishes. A starter of white asparagus was great, with lots of flavour combinations, and a large portion. Cafe gourmand was also equally generous, I think 7 separate components! Nice spot right next to the river with the setting sun as well. We'll definitely return here.

Incredible Pomerol wine, great view overlooking the river. The duck and the fish and chips were very good. Service was wonderful.

What a lovely dinner we had there, wanted to go for quite some time and it didn't disappoint for a bit. It's such a great location along the river. The team was very friendly and welcoming from reservation to finish. The food was classic but superb and were great portions too. Had to try a couple of there well priced glasses of wine, I wanted to have a small bottle unfortunately they did not have any however it gave me the opportunity to try different ones for probably the same amount I would have spent on it. The menu is on the board that did create a lovely ambiance between tables discussing it at the same time. Thank you very much for such a great experience, we will be visiting you soon again. Hopefully in the summer to enjoy your stunning terrace.

Good food, but the service can be improved. Location is also terrific, especially with the sunset view on the veranda

Wonderful place, delicious food, there are daily offers, as well as fast and very friendly service. Everyone speaks English. Our company was lucky and got a table without a reservation, but it is quite busy at lunchtime, so it is better to make a reservation in advance.

Had a fantastic evening at Bistro Maritime. Not only was the food fantastic (my rare steak was cooked perfectly), our waitress Ninon was extremely accommodating: really warm and friendly and went to the effort of translating everything for us. Would absolutely recommend for an evening meal in Libourne.

We were visiting Saint Emilion and didn’t want to eat at any of the tourist restaurants. We got a recommendation to try Bistrot Maritime and wow I’m glad we did. They managed to squeeze us in even though they were packed (on a Tuesday)—all locals as far as I could tell. We got a lovely table outside with a beautiful view of the river. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the cost wasn’t bad for what we got (about 120 euros for 4 people, with some appetizers, dessert and a glass of wine). Even the children’s menu got a thumbs up from my son, who is a very picky eater.
