My friends and I were extremely disappointed and shocked by our experience at Folie Pigalle. We arrived with valid tickets/cards, yet one security guard refused to let us in and gave no real explanation. He claimed it was a “private party” — even though we clearly had the proper entrance cards. What made it even worse was seeing the group behind us, who did not have cards, being allowed to enter simply after speaking French. As Asians, the difference in treatment felt blatant and humiliating. It left us standing outside angry and confused until another guard eventually let us in. This kind of inconsistent and discriminatory-feeling treatment should not be happening anywhere, especially in a major city like Paris. It completely ruined what should’ve been a fun night out. I hope the management takes this seriously, because this was absolutely unacceptable. For a black guy to be so racist is so funny, annoying & diabolically insane at the same time!!!

Good music, but small venue... Also it's terrible going to the bathroom if it's a crowded night.

A old club but has good vibes. Expect a younger crowd. A bit run down but gets busy. They have different events every weekend. Security at the entrance are very friendly however most staff can't speak English. The staff are very chilled. You can literally do anything inside. Another advantage is it runs usually till 5am. Thieving Manager my friend left her purse at the coat check and went back the next day to pick it up, the manager had found it and didn’t tell anyone until we filed a police report. Dishonest thief!
