We were initially booked in the owners hotel in Apt, but due to a booking error we ended up in La Tomate apartment at La Providence. While we had planned to stay in town for the immediate access to restaurants and bars, we ended up loving the quiet tranquility that La Providence offered. Will break up the review into sections:||||La Providence:||It is 5 minutes drive outside of Apt town center (too far to walk) and is off the main road and surrounded by lavender fields (which in late July had already turned grayish)and rolling hills - very pretty. It (a hamlet) is composed of several buildings - one that the owner lives in and several holiday rentals. The grounds are well kept and the owners friendly dog paid us a visit each evening. Breakfast is taken in a building in the center of the hamlet and is composed of croissants, baguettes, yoghurts, fresh fruit, juices, and an espresso machine. All very nice and provided a good start to our day of touring. All buildings have been wonderfully restored and tastefully decorated. There is a very nice pool and some deck chairs with shade available. Pool was great as it was so hot! The only note is that the flowers surrounding the pool invite bees but don't bother them and they won't bother you.||||La Tomate - the apartment:||Great size for a family and nicely decorated. On the main floor is a sitting area and a kitchenette (fridge, sink and small microwave). It was perfect for light meals. The toilet is also located off of the main living room. Additionally the main bedroom is located on the floor with a nice ensuite and a big shower. Bed is comfortable and plenty of room to move around. Being an old building the walls are very thick and while they made the interior cooler than the outside during a very hot July it was still warm. Would suggest that some fans be added (or on request) to make it more comfortable especially as leaving the windows open at night invite mosquitos inside. On that note - you are in the country and t

:-) - beautiful and quiet provencial property with authentic buildings and nice view :-( Suites can‘t be recommended for longer stays (more than 2 nights), during our 7 nights stay - there was no cleaning, change of towels/bed sheets included, neither toilet paper was provided (we paid 40€ for an extra cleaning and were advised to buy toilet paper by ourselves) - there is no opportunity to store or to prepare food (no fridge, no dishes) - breakfast is very pricy (12€) for what you get

we had the 1 bed cottage ,worked out just fine for a family of 4. The owner is very helpful and the place is spotless and comfortable||||The Air conditioning was very effective , very important in August , twin units in the living room plus another in the bedroom||||There was a BBQ to use , plenty of bikes , and the pool was sublime. It is unheated but our two small kids spent about 90 mins daily in it , there are trees which shade parts of the pool in the morning and part in the evening, and there are stupendous views from the pool area. If you can't relax here , you need a good psychiatrist

The owner cencelled my reservation 4 hours before my arriving.The reason why hotel cencelled my reservation is I DELEYED 4 hours not to phone them. Reservation was made by booking.com, andI I had documant. No mail to me as cencelletion. ||My comment is the expression of my experience with hotel staff..My information is not second-hand information, rumors, or quotations from other sources in my review. and coming from my expiriens with the stuff of hotel. . Everything I wrote is true. and can be confirm by person at the reception from where i Phone hotel. |||| Where we should sleep and look for another hotel at 21 h. And yet rhe owner TOLD ME That is my problem. Very uncultural conversation was from his side.||I beleve that somebody again will stay in the middle of night at the street, becouse hotel calculate that sombody else is bettter. And for sure it is important information for the people who are going to make reservation in this hotel it does not mean they will sleep in it. And yet, it can happen just before their arriving.

We had a wonderful stay at La Providence! Everything was perfect. The accommodations were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, surrounded by stunning lavender fields and vineyards that made the setting feel truly magical. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience Provence. We highly recommend La Providence and would love to come back!

This was the most beautiful trip of my life. I lived in the accommodation, surrounded by lavender fields, and attended a beautiful wedding reception. Perra and Sebastien , the owners I met, were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the place itself was simply breathtaking. It’s truly a beautiful place on Earth.
