Wonderful restaurant with spectacular food and service. The entree onion soup was delicious, so different than what we get in the states. A subtle flavor with hints of rosemary in the broth. Both plats that we had, the lamb and the duck, were equally delicious. I couldn’t pick between the two which is my favorite. The lamb was roasted until so tender that it melted in my mouth and the bit I had of my husband’s duck was perfectly cooked medium rare with a cherry sauce. The desserts were all amazing as was the wine recommended by our waiter. The service was perfect, just enough attention and our waiter was kind enough to speak English to us even though we are slowly trying to learn French. I would have photos of the desserts but I was so excited when I saw them I forgot to take a photo.

My wife and I went here for the first time at the weekend and we will definitely be back soon! This is a lovely restaurant with a beautiful terrace out the back. We were greeted by very happy and friendly staff. The menu has a great selection of French food at very reasonable prices. My wife commented whilst eating her lovely tasty lamb shank that this is most probably the best food we have eaten in a restaurant since moving to France over two years ago. I too was very pleased with my choice of a lovely three course lunch, so much so, we are both already looking forward to our next visit (hopefully next week when we have some visitors over) so a great excuse.

If you are interested in local food, this is a 5 stars restaurant... nothing to add to other comments, restaurant must to try....

Very friendly staff, superb duck and desert!

Everything was perfect. The setting on the courtyard is so atmospheric. Every dish was amazing, often one person feels like they got it wrong but everyone was so happy. Really recommend the duck and lasagne in particular. Service was efficient and friendly and price fair. Highly recommend.

What an amazing little restaurant! We booked for 15 people on the day! It rained so we had to be moved back inside, again no problem! The service was efficient and very friendly! A world apart to the arrogance of the south of France. We had three courses and ALOT of wine, the food was excellent, really really good, there was not one grumble amongst the fifteen of us! Favorite on the night was Cote de Veau! A perfect portion, lovely sauce and a really excellent selection of veg(separately cooked). Picture supplied! It worked out at around €50 per head including tip! If you are in the Saint Émilion this is a must stop!

Wonderful local restaurant! Food and service was perfect. First restaurant that we never had to ask for refills on water, which is not typical experience we've had. Our party had different dishes and every dish in each course was delicious! Wonderful experience! Thank you Cosy Tourny!

Recommended by our hosts in Branne where we were staying. Had a lovely evening & meal here, ate outside in the in the very pretty garden. Great service, very friendly & the boss spoke good English. Really enjoyed the food & wine & lovely warm blankets were brought out as the September evening cooled down. A really nice touch. Would highly recommend if you are in the area. Jenny
