Overall really good! Super nice and caring people, clean room, great amenities, wonderful breakfast, perfect location.. I honestly cant say anything bad. Definitely recommend!

Catastrophic Experience – Avoid at All Costs This place is an absolute disaster and should be avoided if you value your money, time, or basic decency. From the moment I arrived, the reception experience was completely unprofessional. The staff showed no courtesy, patience, or willingness to help. I was not given the room I requested, and on top of that, they attempted to charge me €76 for a room that is clearly advertised online for €64. This feels intentionally misleading and dishonest. One staff member at reception was particularly pushy and seemed determined to overcharge me rather than resolve the issue transparently. Be extremely cautious here and double-check every price, because they do not act in good faith. The room itself was barely acceptable. The bedding releases a noticeable amount of dust when moved, which is unacceptable from a hotel that claims to be suitable for business travelers. Safety is another major concern. There appears to be no control over who enters the building, as reception is located on the first floor and there is no real oversight. This does not inspire confidence at all. Communication was also a problem. The staff’s English is very limited, and they only seem to understand what suits them, making it nearly impossible to resolve issues properly. The only positive point is the location, which is central and convenient—but that alone does not justify staying here. I strongly recommend avoiding Appart’City Annemasse Centre. There are far better and more honest options nearby. Do not let yourself become another victim of this establishment. Stayed here with my daughter recently as we wanted to visit Geneva but not pay Geneva hotel prices. It worked well for that purpose. Spacious apartment and quite well equipped kitchen. Good size bathroom. Great water pressure in the shower. The internet did not work in our room though and we had to stand in the reception area to get it (or sit on the stairs when reception was closed). Frustrating as it was advertised as having internet in all rooms. Also there is no air conditioning and it was very hot. Had to sleep with windows open and got covered in mosquito bites! There is a 'Monoprix' supermarket opposite that is open until 8pm, which was very handy. The number 61 bus goes directly into the city and takes about 40mins. There are several stops in Annemasse where you can catch it and you can get either a single ticket or day pass from the tourist office by the station. The tickets can be used on the trams, trains and water taxis too. Day pass costs about chf10

I should mention that the location is not reliable for a tourist. The elevators have been broken for weeks, and we had to carry our suitcases up six flights of stairs. I can't comment on the breakfast as there was nothing to eat except bread and jam.

Perfect for short stay. Great access to Geneva only 5mins walk from train station. Close to restaurants and shops. Location is safe for solo travellers. Room was a really decent size, clean and had facilities.

My particular room size and layout exceeded expectations because not only was it big, but it had a separate kitchen with a door and the picture on the site indicated my room night include the kitchen in the bedroom area itself. Any appliance you required was included: electric kettle, induction stove with 2 burners, excellent refrigerator (not just a "beverage chiller"), mini dishwasher, microwave, and (American style?) standard coffee maker. Kitchen also included plates, cups, glasses, silverware, and pots/pans. If laundry is required, there are machines on the floor. Everything was very clean! There was a tower fan which was very necessary due to the hot weather. The TV and channel selection were excellent, AND the TV itself had a USB-C connector in the back which allowed me to recharge my external battery bank since I had forgotten an adapter and wasn't sure if I should buy an EU or Swiss version (NOTE: the hotel itself has France Type-E outlets which also accept Type C plugs. If you're also going between Switzerland and/or riding the trains, you should also be able to use a Type C plug for both if you don't have a universal adapter). I would only have deducted 1/2 star for the lack of climate control in the heat and smell of heavy cologne upon check-in, but I realize the weather has been unusually warm everywhere and I was able to easily air out the smell by opening the windows. The location is in a diverse neighborhood of Annemasse, and is near many restaurants, bars, and retail stores. Across the street you can find a Monoprix for groceries. It's a quick 5 minute walk from the Annemasse train station, and about 45-60 min to the Geneva Airport depending on your connections. In the other direction you can hop on and be in Evian-les-Bains in about 40 minutes. To US visitors hoping to stock up on French skincare: the local Pharmacie selection isn't as robust as larger cities, and is generally more expensive. Hello everyone, I would like to warmly thank Miss Xahira, your colleague. She showed great professionalism, as she had just finished her shift and I was in difficulty; she had to stay longer because of me. The hotel I had booked didn't give me instructions on how to access my room last night, Saturday, June 21, 2025, and so I found myself stranded with my luggage in the street. I was in great difficulty, and as soon as I arrived at Appart City, she helped me resolve my problem, and I was able to stay at Appart City for the weekend from Saturday evening up to Monday 23 June 2025 morning. Thanks to her, all my stress disappeared, as she resolved my problem. I recommend Appart City to everyone. I had very good experience! I wish her and the Appart City group the best. This hotel is just outside of Geneva with a very easy connection on the train. Lots of places to eat and shop right outside the door. People are very laid back and friendly. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed.
