As a Catholic, we are blessed to be able to visit this amazing sanctuary. And no other words to describe what many others have commented. I visited the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I spent three days there, taking a direct flight from Milan to Lourdes, and everything was simply unforgettable. This place is incredibly beautiful and filled with a deep sense of peace that is hard to describe. From the moment you arrive, you feel a unique calm and spiritual energy all around you. They also have an official app where you can easily follow the daily program, which is very helpful to organize your visit and not miss any important moments. One experience I highly recommend is the evening prayer at the grotto. It takes place in multiple languages, with candles lit all around standing there in front of the grotto, surrounded by people from all over the world, is something truly moving and unforgettable. I recommend everyone to visit this place at least once in their life. Lourdes is absolutely stunning and offers an experience that stays with you forever.

Very beautiful and peaceful place for prayers and personal reflections. We have been coming back here several times in the past 10 years. My wife now serves as a volunteer here for the past few years, while I walk the Camino de Santiago.

As a catholic, I’m writing this review with great pleasure and joy. It was my first time in Lourdes and I felt so special and blessed. Please note there’s a candlelight procession happening at 9pm at night every day from April to October. Also there are several mass services in different churches in the premises. You can buy bottles from near by shops and fill holy water. There’s staff that help you with information and guiding you through. Have a pleasant pilgrimage Our Lady of Lourdes, Pray for us

For Catholics around the world, to be able to visit The Lourdes Grotto is an experience of a lifetime. The holy place for pilgrimage, to deepen our faith and to seek miracles 🙏 We visited Lourdes Grotto during the lean season, after the busy Christmas season and I think this is the best time as it is more quiet and peaceful for a meaningful pilgrimage.

Truly amazing place to be present at a piece of heaven here on earth. The peace and warmth that comes from sitting or kneeling at the apparition site is truly profound. Definitely worth a visit!

As a stop on our pilgrimage, I found The Basilica and grounds to be the co-highlight of our trip along with Our Lady of the Pillar in Zaragoza. The peace that descends upon you during the procession of Our Lady is remarkable. If you want to recharge your faith I truly recommend this spot.

Interesting to see how many people are devoted to the memory of a young girl, Bernadette Sounirous, who in 1858 with a series of apparitions changed a once sleepy town forever. Now it's a large very tourist complex with the sites of the wonders shown to the girl. It's all alien for me but looking at it as an anthropologist it was sort of fun.
