I am surprised that there is not a different lunch and dinner menu. For lunch this place is fine, they have a nice burger and nice bao. Overall nice sandwich selection. But the steak was just ok, the salmon was just smoked salmon on a plate. The salmon was the most disappointing. Also the side salds were tiny. For dinner it was the same menu, which to me feels more like lunch. And they ran of out steaks, so someone had to change their order. We had one staff who was awesome and one who was soso. This place gets busy. It's a great hang outside after walking in the woods. Overall great vibes, great for lunch, would go back for lunch not for dinner.

Nice patio dining spot in town with lots of food and drink options. Nice ice cream selection too. The staff were super friendly but seem under staffed since it was hard to get consistent service until you waved them down.

Found this restaurant through Google Maps like many tourists and decided to stop by for lunch because of the good ratings. The menu was all in French, but no problem — we used a translation app. When the waitress asked what we wanted to drink, I said tap water was fine. A few minutes later, she came over opening a bottle of mineral water. I explained again that we just wanted tap water. She then brought over a bottle — but we later realized it wasn’t water at all, it was vinegar! Not sure if it was a mistake or if they use old bottles for cleaning. When it came time to pay, they gave us the wrong bill. Luckily we noticed (thanks to our app) and asked for the correct one. Even then, they had added the mineral water we didn’t order. If I didn’t speak some English or use a translator, I could have easily been overcharged without knowing. When I mentioned the vinegar issue, they checked and apologized, but it felt pretty reluctant. Honestly, this is the first time I’ve ever left a bad review for a restaurant. If you don’t speak French, make sure you double-check everything carefully here.

This is a cool spot for lunch with an appealing daily menu that offers a variety of delicious options. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, adding to the pleasant experience. The outdoor terrace is a nice touch, providing a relaxed atmosphere, even though it's situated along the main street of Barbizon. Don’t forget to book in advance especially during weekend or vacation periods.

Very friendly service and good food

Excellent restaurant. The fish/seafood is delivered daily from Paris' biggest market. It has a limited menu but everything's delicious and they have a daily changing menu. It's nice being able to sit outside on the terrace. They have lovely homemade ice cream as well.

Quite mediocre food - had to spice it myself a lot because it had very little flavor. Otherwise pretty solid in terms of service, atmosphere ET CETERA

Beautiful restaurant with great patio and street seating! They even have a meal option for kids. Good selection of burgers and several salad options! They also have a gelato shop next door so you can enjoy a great gelato after your meal! Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. They don’t have high chairs but do have a booster seat that you can use. We went on a Saturday and they definitely serve later into the afternoon as well!
