Tiny room and bathroom, barely any space to move or to put stuff. We expected a small space, but this was really small. Also no air conditioning, it was 33°! And no elevator. Staff was friendly though.
Will you sleep nicely? No. Will you have a nice calming shower? No. Will you have a nice comfy bed? No. Is it cheap? Yes. Will you smell like a urinal? Also yes.
We stayed only one night to make a stop on the way to Provence. The room was very clean and comfy enough for just one night stay. The showers are clean if you are early. We came late in the night and left early in the morning, thus did not experience any issues. There is a big free parking and a good wifi signal.
Awful, awful, awful. I arrived at the hotel late after specifically pre-checking in to ensure a smooth process, but it was anything but. The reception was closed and the self-service machine was broken, leaving me stranded at the entrance. I eventually had to ring the bell and deal with a staff member who was clearly disgruntled at being woken up—hardly the welcome you expect, even for a budget stay. The issues continued once I reached the room. The 'peace and quiet' was non-existent; the sink gurgled loudly all night long, making it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the soundproofing is abysmal—you can hear every footstep, muffled conversation, and movement from the guests in the surrounding rooms. Yes, it’s cheap, but there’s a difference between 'budget' and 'unacceptable.' I won't be returning

I think it is a robbery, because the motel took our money twice. We payed on booking.com by card in an hour before come to the motel. The worker on the counter said, the he can't see the payment yet, and can't do anything for us. I asked about payment in the morning, he told that the only option is to pay right now by cash, then booking payment will be cancelled. He gave us an invoice, proving this cash payment, done on 22 of November 2025. It was almost a month ago. Since then money were never returned to our card from booking.com, which means that the chain still did not cancel the booking payment and accepted our payment twice. We asked for help in resolving the issue but we are being ignored.
The hotel was pretty clean and the staff was friendly. The double-room I've got was properly cleaned and one air-refresher was found on the table. However, there was still strong smell of disinfestation materials especially in the bed, so I could stay without strong headache only by using continuously opened window. If one arrives by car then Annecy centre is ~10 mins far and the Pringy railway stop with free parking is ~3 mins. In all-in-one, I was satisfied with the accommodation in this hotel.
I booked a room with a private bathroom at the F1 Annecy in Argonay through Expedia, paying a higher rate specifically to have that basic comfort. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find that the room had no bathroom, was extremely small, dirty, and in completely unacceptable condition. The walls were covered in mold, the mirror was broken, and the entire space reeked of dampness. As someone with severe allergies, this posed a serious health risk. I immediately complained, explaining that this was not the room I had booked. The hotel staff simply told me to take it up with Expedia, claiming their page showed something different. Expedia, in turn, shamelessly refused to issue a refund or cancellation, even though I was clearly misled. Eventually, the hotel agreed to move me to a room with a bathroom—but only if I paid an extra €30, even though the mistake was entirely theirs! I had no choice but to accept, since my money wasn’t being refunded. Still, I had to spend one night in the moldy, unsafe room, risking my health. This is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hotel charged several times the actual value of what they offered, and even during the breakfast (which consisted only of some bread, butter, and cheese, nothing special), the staff repeatedly and rudely told me “You only have one breakfast”, as if I were trying to take more than my share. When I politely pointed out that this was incorrect, they insisted loudly in front of others, which was incredibly disrespectful and humiliating. I also discovered that many of the rooms have mold problems, and the entire hotel is in violation of basic hygiene and health standards. Even worse, the hotel deletes negative reviews and shows hostile behavior toward guests who complain. This experience caused me physical and emotional distress, and I demand proper compensation for the health risks, the overcharge, and the unacceptable treatment I received.
