We had the most magical wedding weekend at Chateau Le Pordor in August 2024. We chose this venue for its beauty but also because right from our first meeting with Olivia, we could tell we would be in the best of hands and we certainly weren't wrong! Olivia, Le Pordor's fabulous wedding planner Joanna (Joyze) and the whole Pordor team were amazing throughout the wedding planning process and made it easy for us to plan the wedding from the UK (no mean feat!). During our wedding weekend, Olivia couldn't do enough for us to make us feel at ease, create the perfect space to get ready in and generally  ensure that the wedding went seamlessly. The grounds and chateau are absolutely stunning and were the perfect backdrop for our dream wedding. Being able to stay at the Chateau with our family and friends made the weekend all the more special. It will forever have a special place in our hearts and we can't thank Olivia enough for their kindness and hospitality. If you want the most perfect wedding, Chateau le Pordor is the place to do it

We had an amazing wedding thanks of this magical place!!!! We felt in a fairytail. From the start to the finish we had an wonderful weekend. It was difficult to organise something like this from abroad, but Olivia was very accomodating to reply all our questions. She gave us a list of suppliers we could use for the wedding, if you are not sure who to hire I would definetely reccomend 100%: - Diane Jimenez (Comme une Envie), for photos - Little Garden Avessac, Laura Stevenin for the flowers - Catherine from Soeurettes & Co for all the decoration - Catering: Edouard Set - Joanna as wedding planner If you choose this magical team, you will not get disappointed, they are used to work together all the time, so everything went smooth and to perfection. I was a bit torn at the beginning because the communication was not great with Edouard Set, but overall everything went so perfect, we had so many compliments from our guests, they told us it was the best wedding ever they attended to so far. For the decorations and flowers we just said the theme and the colours and Catherine and Laura did their magic, all the flowers and decorations was so well done and we loved everything!!! I asked to have pinecones on tables and Catherine went to pick them up from her garden haha, the sweetest woman on Earth. Absolutely beautiful everything, it was all well prepared, all the tiny details. The food was amazing, even if we didn't had a food tasting, we went a bit blind folded, but it was better than expected. Most of my guests worked in hospitality industry and we were all happy about the food. Very well done. Diane was spot on on the photos, she is very organised photographer and I was so surprised how organised she was with everything. It was a plasure to work with, even if I hate take pictures so much and do a pose, but everything was natural and not imposed. What really impressed me is the fact all the people worked on this wedding, were easygoing, we felt we entered a family

We organized our wedding here in Aug-2023 from overseas in Canada. Our initial visit was July-2022 and the grounds of the Chateau were very impressive - it was love at first site for location of our wedding, an easy choice. Olivia showed us everything we needed to know about how the day would go on the first visit and then all organization afterwards was very straightforward and not stressful. The weeks leading up to the wedding they were very available for any questions we had and also prompted information from us that ultimately helped in organization of the D-day that we did not have to worry about - everyone was up to date on the flow of the day. We initially had reservation about an imposed caterer but the food was plentiful, the staff went out of their way, perfect organization and most importantly the food was delicious and the guests love it. They also provided our crepe brunch the next day and was equally as delicious and plentiful. I would 1000% recommend Pordor for your event especially if you are overseas. Olivia was accommodating, her suggestions of vendors were awesome - we ended up using vendors from her list even though we did our own research. A lot of the work was done for you in this way and as they do this all the time there were many things available that did not need to be rented (tablets, chairs, table linens, benches) etc. They were also able to make great suggestions for us on set up and also some special performances - they are a great resource as well. Note: The ballroom and the diner room are separate rooms which is a bit different than what we typically see in N.American weddings but it was so awesome - it was even better. Also - Olivia is weather goddess. She said the rain would stop by 2. At noon the wind was howling and raining side ways and there was little hope for the day - despite everyone's concerns, by 2 pm the first beam of light strikes the chateau and the heavens opened up to give us a SUNNY day! We had our dream wedding thanks to Chateau du Pordor! We truly couldn’t have dreamed of a better day! We planned our wedding from the states with total ease. Every vendor Olivia recommended was fantastic. They truly went over and beyond for us to make every detail so special. I knew it would be beautiful, but I was really blown away on how stunning everything was! I know how hard weddings are to pull off and the team executed it flawlessly! I was so relaxed the entire weekend and didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our guests raved about the wedding and property. Truly magical!! If you are thinking of having your wedding here, do not hesitate!! The best weekend of our lives! Thank you Chateau du Pordor team!! We can’t wait to come back!

We had our wedding in the chateau in August. As one of our guests said, this was a fairytale weekend. Olivia, the owner of the chateau, was the most helpful and made the process of organising the wedding as straightforward as possible, especially as we organised everything from the UK. The place itself is just magical and to fall in love with at first sight. We had the best weekend of our lives here.
