We had a truly fantastic stay here. All of the staff we encountered were EXTREMELY helpful and kind. The hotel is very well appointed and our room was a great size despite being for two adults and two children. We found the restaurant to be excellent quality and good value. Will definitely return if back in Les Menuires.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish.||We arrived late on Tuesday evening, only to be told that the hotel had expected us on Monday. This was completely incorrect, as we had clearly booked four nights starting from Tuesday. What made this worse is that no one from the hotel had attempted to contact us about this supposed “no-show.” The receptionist said he would look into the issue and get back to us—but we never heard anything further during our entire stay.||Things only got more frustrating as the week went on. On Friday morning, we purchased ski tickets at reception and charged them to our room. The staff member spent several minutes assisting us, everything seemed normal. Yet just two hours later, we received a call asking why we hadn’t checked out and whether we planned to stay—followed by the information that we would need to move from our junior suite to a much smaller room. This was both confusing and unacceptable.||When we returned from skiing later that day, we discovered that our shower items were missing. We asked multiple staff members about it, but no one had any answers, and the issue was never resolved. No follow-up, no apology—nothing.||To make matters worse, upon checkout on Saturday, we were charged 90% of a full room rate for the Friday-to-Saturday night, despite all the confusion and inconvenience caused by the hotel’s own errors.||Finally, the spa experience was far from relaxing. During our massages, the therapist was clearly unwell—coughing frequently and with a runny nose—which made the experience uncomfortable and unhygienic.||Overall, this stay was poorly managed, disorganized, and lacked even basic customer service. We would not recommend this hotel.

Have stayed in a few places in les meniures. This is the best place. Great reception staff, lovely bar area, spa, and loved the ski room with individualised locker. The room was amazing, plenty of space, a safe and great products!||Only minor thing is that it is a 20-30 minute uphill walk from the main village area to the hotel. There is a complimentary bus that goes up and down which makes eating out a bit of a challenge.Luckily the Hôtel restaurant is very good with a wide selection of wines!

Kaya Chalet Hotel knows how to get people on the slopes! It is all very easy. The ski rental is attached and they are efficient, kind, and reasonable. The front desk sells ski passes. Downstairs, you have your own private locker for storing boots and skis as well as clean benches to get ready. You walk outside, strap on your skis, and beautiful slopes abound!|There is a hefty price to pay for such services. For the amount spent, I was expecting a bit more from our room. Very basic, but clean. You are paying for convenience. The staff was exceptionally kind. |Of note, this hotel is the last stop of the bus line in LesMenuires at the valleys highest altitude. I had altitude sickness for 3 days. I skied the first full day after arriving the previous afternoon, and woke up sick. Next time, I’d be sure to acclimate longer. They also have a strong smoke smell in the hotel from their outside terrace (which is lovely). I am sensitive to smells, and this didn’t help. Even without the altitude sickness, the smell would have bothered me so mentioning it for similar sensitivities. Having said this, the staff went out of their way for me. If I am ever laid up again on a ski trip, I’d like to be at the Kaya Hotel sitting on their terrace with a view of the Alps!

This was one of the most comfortable, thoughtful and beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in (and I have traveled extensively). We are a family of 3 with a teenager, and we rented the suite with a king bed and a bunk room. First of all, a king sized bed is nearly impossible to find in Europe so that was amazing. The room was enormous with a huge bathroom and separate water closet. Everything was new and fresh. There were plenty of hooks along the walls to hang ski gear, etc. The entire staff - from front desk to the valet to the breakfast staff etc - were simply lovely. So cheerful and helpful with any request. The breakfast buffet was high quality ingredients with stunning views from every window. The ski rental shop attached had beautiful things to buy at reasonable prices and the guy who fitted us for our boots and skis treated us like royalty. Absolutely loved this hotel and could not recommend higher. (One thing to note... there is virtually no nightlife here, which was fine for us but may not be for everyone.) We made a lasting family memory and truly hope to be back one day!

We stayed at the hotel for a week of skiing. We had a standard room with shower that was quite spacious. Very comfortable bed and nice decor. Water was hot and plentiful. We were half board and both breakfast and dinner were of high quality. Breakfast in particular was an excellent spread of anything you might wish for. If you take the half board option, you choose between a meat or fish main dish, along side the two entree and dessert courses for dinner. But there is nothing to stop you going the whole hot stone or other speciality. Portions were generous. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Always a great welcome in the dining room. |The piste access was easy on day 1, following a big dump of snow As the week went on and the snow disappeared, it was still possible to make a quick exit on to the piste. Skiing back in was a little more challenging, but totally possible. Easy ski down to the lifts in the morning. I would say the hotel was well positioned for skiing and for the bus into Les menuires, (It is on the end of the line).|We very much enjoyed our stay - and will be seriously considering a return next year.

This year I returned to Kaya after such an enjoyable stay in 2024. This time I was in a junior suite with two friends. I was on the "third bed" and despite being a tall male found it comfortable.||Overall, the hotel has a lovely warm feeling. The rooms are very nicely furnished. The food in the restaurant is truly excellent, and the service is excellent without being too formal.||The ski facilities are great, the ski room is large and has lockers for every bedroom, and a water point. Also, since there is a ski shop attached to the hotel, collecting your hire equipment is super easy.||Access to the slopes from the Ski room is on to the "Blue" Boyes piste. Personally I find this a bit much first thing in the morning, as the slope is quite steep, and tends to be very busy. Fortunately there is a more gentle Green piste called Montagnette which is a 5 minute walk from the reception level. Alternatively you can take the free shuttle bus from outside the hotel down a few bends to a stop further down the slope and access the Boyes piste lower down.
