We ate in several restaurants in Honfleur during our holiday. This was by far the best Excellent food and a lovely lady host. Highly recommend you visit. It's only small so maybe book ahead. Thank you for a wonderful evening 😊
Amazing food and very friendly service eventhough theres language barrier, she tried her besr to have a conversation. The atmosphere is lovely, true french vibes and french music. Reasonably priced, completly affordable and close to the city centre.
This is a classic bar brasserie with cheque table cloths and busy corner location. It’s a few hundred yards away from the more touristy restaurants on the quayside but all the more authentic for it. We had simple lunches (steak tartare and wonderful omelette complete) washed down with a very acceptable house rose and house red. This is home cooking done well and the lady who runs the restaurant is delightful. We finished lunch with a lovely local Calvados. The sign on their blackboard says ‘sit back you are in good hands’ and that’s exactly how it felt. Make the time to walk away from the quayside and find this deliciously French eatery.
The host is nice & kind. Very cooperative. We informed that we'd arrive late at night, she left instructions on the paper. The rooms were clean (with shared WC and shower. The sink is in the room. If you have portable fan, do take with you as there are not enough fans for all rooms. The breakfast was served on terrace until 11am. I'd recommend and will revisit. Perfect for small budget.
Great place with french heart, fresh delicious food, local, absolutely must go! Its a new owner and he is doing a fantastic job! We will be back
Not a good experience. I eat not much but i spent a lot. Toilet was extra small, as the table. They served us a cake with a lot of alcohol without a warning. No menu with plates or ingredients. Food just ok. I won't came back for any reason.
We came here for some food it was mediocre but not that bad. The lady was a little rude but I guess she was having a bad day being not that busy but she could be the cause of her bad day. Small wine was €5.50 where most places it's €2 for a glass that small of house white wine.
The first time we came here as a young couple with our 4 month old daughter we were sitting on the terrace having a drink discussing where we would spend the night. My wife noticed a sign 'rooms fot rent' and that was that. Stil hold very fond memories of our first stay here... Very basic room but the authenticity, the breakfast in the bar downstairs made it well worth.
