​Hotel & Spa Villa Castellane is a truly beautiful hotel. I especially love the pool right in the center of the property, the friendly staff, and the overall design of the rooms. The atmosphere is wonderful, making it a great place to relax and unwind. ​The only downside: Breakfast For a 4-star hotel, the breakfast is absolutely unacceptable. The selection is incredibly limited: there was only one type of cold cut and two types of cheese. The only muesli options available were packed with sugar (chocolate and other sweetened varieties)—there was no plain, natural muesli at all. The vegetable and fruit selection was also lacking; they only offered cucumbers and a bit of lettuce. As for bread, there was almost exclusively white bread/baguette and another very similar type. Overall, the breakfast has huge room for improvement. To be honest, it is the worst breakfast experience I have ever had in a hotel. Even 1- or 2-star hotels usually offer a more variety. They definitely need to upgrade this. ​A small suggestion for the pool area: It would also be great if the hotel could add two or three more umbrellas around the pool. There aren't enough for all the seating areas, and during the summer, it gets incredibly hot and hard to bear without shade. ​Conclusion: Apart from these issues, the hotel is a wonderful place to stay and one that I can overall recommend

I had a two night stay with my partner. It was wonderful, great location being close to town so easily walkable.||The hotel itself is modern with excellent decor and facilities. The staff were exceptional, not only friendly but genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. Alway helpful and full of recommendations about the area and it offerings.||My room was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and we really needed nothing more from it to enjoy our stay.||We will be back for sure.

Lovely hotel. Fantastic, spacious modern suite room. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. Only problem was I came to Greoux for the thermal hot springs. Turns out they're closed on Sundays, and the hotel was also renovating its spa so it was closed. But they arranged a spa afternoon for me at another hotel, which was very kind.

If you are looking for a great hotel experience in this thermal spa destination, don't look any further and select this hotel.....you won't find it any better! Located in a natural setting but a stone throw away from both the village centre and Thermal Spa. The perfect mix of a historic building with contemporary design extensions. Large public areas with a warm yet minimalist interior design. Our apartment was very spacious and its design also included smooth concrete exposed walls. Apart from a large living room and separate bedroom both giving access to a large terrace facing the swimming pool it also included a kitchenette offering all relevant appliances as well as large bathroom with walk-in rain shower. The king-size bed and 100% cotton linen was just perfect! All staff in the hotel seemed to really enjoy their work which of course had its positive impact on our experience and for which the management needs to be complimented! We also enjoyed very much the breakfast which offered all what we were after to start our daily thermal spa "cure". On a separate note we enjoyed very much the secured bicycle parking offered in the basement of the hotel which is one of these facilities often forgotten by hotels. Definitely a hotel where we will return to when we next visit Greoux les Bains and one highly recommended to those after a perfect hotel stay and great value for money.

Highly highly recommend! Staff in the hotel is super helpful and friendly! We had a car breakdown when driving to the hotel and Julie helped us called cab and contact our insurance company! Cannot imagine how we can manage without their help. None of us speak French and staff at the reception helped us do all the communication!! Huge thanks to Julie and other staff in the hotel.

We love this place. The room is spacious, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the neighborhood is peaceful. We had a small kitchen and a wide living room. The only thing is that the shower doesn't have a door and the glass isn't enough to block the water from flowing to the vanity unit. Other than that, it's perfect.

Wonderful stay. The beautiful rooms are luxurious and comfortable, while the staff does wonders. A very special big up and thanks to the restaurant staff. The signature dishes are amazing. Subtle, refined and served with the warmest of smiles. A must.
