Simply amazing - we wanted to relax and this was perfect! Staff at check in, porter and waitstaff were amazing. Friendly, engaging and not intrusive all at once. The welcome wine, and focacia/evian send off treat were so thoughtful. We had a suite with private pool, and had to drag ourselves away. We had room service several times and each order was perfect. Provence is a dream and I don't want to wake up. I'd give it 6* for cleanliness, room size and facilites and STAFF. If you're looking for relaxation this resort is excellent.

5/5: Great Michelin-starred restaurant — everything was perfect except the wine by the glass: they do not provide a price list, even upon request during the tasting, so we decided to skip it. 3/5: The 5-star hotel is really too old and in need of renovation (same for the SPA), although the location, view, and outdoor pool are great. Overall, it is not worth the price. 5/5: Professional service throughout. We will come back for the restaurant, but not for the hotel and SPA.

I arrived in a little peace of heaven. The entry and the garden al ready invites you to another level. At reception you feel a professional and warm welcome to check in. The room ( superior with balcony ) was with a great floor layout. The room was cleaned twice a day to my perfection. Breakfast was absolute stunning with great and top ingredients and varieties to choose from. Staff is very well trained and friendly. This hotel is a must in the area of Gordes ! The only negative point or suggestion I could bring up is that the reception staff ( which are only woman’s ) should get a help from a men to Carrie the baggage from the guests. I was feeling too embarrassed to let them carrie my havey bags to my room over th stops up and down to the room and did it rather myself.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds however it’s a little dated in the rooms. We had two suites for our family of 5. The terrace was very small and the bathrooms had dated fixtures also the towels seemed very old almost threadbare. |Breakfast was a huge disappointment- very little selection and some days it had all pretty much run out by 10am even though breakfast is served until 1030. Juice had run out and there was no more - never come across this before. My children were hungry as they had just the option of baguette meat and cheese rather than child friendly options such as fresh pancakes, waffles, yoghurts, freshly chopped berries etc. All were absent and not even strawberry or raspberry jam. Very odd. |The hotel is severely understaffed and this reflects in the service. |The lunch and dinner menu is very limited and very few options for children so we went out each night. |Pool menu was also limited. |Staff were very pleasant but as I said not enough of them.|The staff did help my husband with a lively bouquet of flowers for our anniversary and they also gave us a lovely bottle of rose for the anniversary and when we left a lovely gift also of jam and wine. I can’t fault the staff at all I just think it needs more staff and some updates in the bathrooms.

From the moment I arrived at The Phebus Hotel, I knew I had found a hidden gem, a serene escape from the noise and rush of everyday life. Nestled in a tranquil setting surrounded by beauty, this hotel radiates peace and sophistication. It’s the kind of place where time seems to slow down, inviting you to breathe, unwind, and simply be. The reception staff immediately set the tone for my stay. They were warm, genuinely friendly, and eager to help with anything I needed, their smiles felt as welcoming as the soft breeze drifting through the lobby. The same can be said for the restaurant team, who provided impeccable service with such charm and attentiveness that each meal felt like a personal dining experience. Every detail, from the presentation to the atmosphere, exuded quiet luxury and care. The spa was another delightful highlight, calming sanctuary designed for relaxation. The treatments were excellent and the space itself beautifully maintained. However, with only one person managing the desk and assisting guests, there was a bit of a wait at times. A few more hands in that department would make the experience even more seamless. My room, however, was pure perfection spacious, secluded, and blissfully quiet. It felt as though I had an entire private retreat to myself. The soft lighting, elegant décor, and comforting silence created the sensation of being in my own peaceful home away from home. In every sense, The Phebus Hotel offers a tranquil and beautiful escape ideal for those seeking peace, pampering, and genuine hospitality. With just a little more support in the spa, it would be absolute perfection. Still, my stay was nothing short of magical, and I left feeling refreshed, renewed, and already dreaming of my next visit.

I had an excellent September stay at Le Phébus & Spa,Provence. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. The hotel's owner chef star Xavier Mathieu along with his staff, made the experience truly special. The food was exquisite, and the service went above and beyond. When I had a minor accident upon leaving, the concierge, front desk manager, and even chef Mathieu along with his young son and assistant personally assisted to ensure was taken care of. Exceptional hospitality from start to finish.

Beautiful Hotel with stunning views, our rooms were really nice and clean, staff always pleasant.|Just a couple of things to be aware of and a little disappointed |1. It was said to us breakfast was included, at checkout we were told it was not and it was 30euro pp for pastries there was one thing of scrambled eggs which looked different every day. The buffet never change the pastries were always the same , there were crepes that were ice cold (maybe it’s normal to eat them cold but definitely they did not taste that yummy) the fruit was really delicious as it was local.|2. Menu at the bistro very limited and unfortunately the waiters were not really nice although they place was not busy at all they took their sweet time to even bring a menu after watching us sit there for a little while.|3. The restaurants do not proved you with a bill.. all of a sudden at checkout they were o you want to see what you consumed? Very distasteful and a little scam in my eyes. Provide clear bills please from the beginning and inform guests how or what the policies are. I honestly left annoyed because of this. |Lovely hotel unfortunately this left a bad taste . The place is beautiful indeed and would definitely recommend just ask questions in the beginning

We loved this hotel. Incredibly beautiful, well kept, very low key so very relaxing. Great location |Would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet , low key, beautiful experience We loved the very slow and relaxed atmosphere , treats every night from in house bakery and lovely snack bag (waters and homemade breads) when we left. Just what we needed to kick off our trip in Province
