Annecy and the lake are well worth the visit. We had a beautiful day enhanced by a great lunch and walk though the city and alanog the canal.
Fantastic village with beautiful waters. Dip your toes in or just go for lunch. Ferry access was simple and quick.

Stopping for a few hours in Annecy? Before or after seeing the lake, this is a really fun spot with great photo art and event info, bathrooms at BK, different food options like bagels/sushi/donuts/pizza/boulangerie within a 200m radius - and fun postcards to find to send home. And Wifi, too. A much nicer place to hang out than the train station and worth the walk.

Lockers near one of the entrances to store luggage for an ok fee. Free and clean toilets also.
