ZHANI ANIS

Zoo which is really made on terms on the animals not for people. All animals have lot of space and they are not hiding like in the usual zoos.

Great visit, we would have stayed longer but the weather was too hot for me. I was pleased so many signs were also in English, its wonderful that so many animals are now able to live a safe and well cared for life.

This was a wonderful day out with the children. The zoo was well laid out with plenty to see. There were a wide range of animals including sea lions, elephants, camels, tigers, lions, bears and more. The animals have often been rescued and saved from testing or circuses. The zoo had lots of toilets spaced around the zoo and a few food outlets. The main food outlet had a great selection of food with space to eat inside and out. There was also bouncy castles and a maze. A brilliant day out!

Beautiful shelter. Each animal has a story you can read. They have all been admitted for different reasons: lab, circus, conservation, traffic... Thanks to La Tanière those animals have a second chance at life.

Loved the place. The animals variaty and set up is great. Would be nice to have a visit path through the animals shelter. So even if they are sleeping and cosy, we could admire their habitat. Only 4 stars as food was very limited and when you come with kids, i expected to buy proper food and snacks. But only end up with a food truck serving crisps and sugary treats only, a bit disappointing and frustrating.

Amazing place! Animals have a lot of space, there are section where we can touch animals (ponies, goats, alpacas..). There is an information about every animal- why they are there. It’s truly heartwarming to see that they can be finally in a happy place 😊 (Capybara on the picture doesn’t look very happy, it was super hot that day😅)

Very beautiful place long for visit, animals can finally find peace there I am so happy to find people who cares about animals which has been bad treated.. Respect for all of you 🙏🏻

What an amazing place, pain's you to know the animals stories but huge respect to the family for putting their lives into saving animals in distress.
