We have used SMN for around 20 years for all types of work on our boat, both routine maintenance jobs but also major work like dropping the keel, new rigging, etc. SMN is a good sized boatyard with a professional and competent team with the skills and resources to take on challenging projects and they are well connected with all the good specialists in the area. We have always found their prices to be fair, especially for this part of the Med. They provide a cost estimate before they start work, which in our experience they have rarely exceeded, and then only for good reason. They provide good information on progress, they are straightforward and practical in case of any problems, and they are a very friendly team too. Patrick and Alexandre who lead the team speak excellent English. Alexandre was previously a marine surveyor so knows his stuff. There are many boatyards in this area, but the fact that we use SMN again and again is the best recommendation we can give. Happy sailing everyone!
