SKADI

We stayed in a very comfortable adequately sized two bedroom apartment. Clean, well equipped and beds comfortable Very conveniently situated with a short walk to the bus stop. Excellent pizza place next door and also the spar shop. Excellent ski shop where we got chalet skadi discount right next door also. Convenient to have a drink or eat in the hotel adjacent associated with the apartment. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again should we revisit Val d Isère. Thankyou Chalet Skadi. ||||||||||

The treatment I booked at the spa in Chalet Skadi was incredible. It was a mini 20 minute head, shoulder and neck massage and it was exceptional. Thank you to the team there!

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor at Chalet Skadi recently. Overall the experience was excellent and one I'd be happy to repeat. Some of the plus points:|+ the rooms are definitely more spacious and better furnished than the average french ski resort apartments. Beds were particularly comfortable and rooms were quiet at night|+ staff were present when we needed them and were polite and efficient|+ breakfast bakery service was convenient|+ location is a little way outside the centre of Val d'Isere however the 'red' bus stop is a 2 minute walk and offers a great way of accessing different lift stations across the town|+ It's less than 10 minute walk to the centre of Val (not in ski boots!) so accessing shops, ticket office, restaurants etc is no problem|A couple of minor issues:|- Tv reception for English channels is pretty limited to a couple of news channels|- We mainly ate out so cooking utensils and facilities were fine however this might not be the case if you plan to eat in every night|- Not sure why the glass bathroom doors have patterns in that you can see through!!||Whether or not this is genuine 5* accommodation or not I have no idea and really don't care. The facilities, service and location were excellent and I would happily stay here again.

A very well-organized resort. Ideal for skiing. A fantastic facility with a spacious lobby, ski room, family-friendly atmosphere, a very good spa, pool and sauna, and polite and helpful staff (especially Romain). The rooms are clean and tidy. Ideal for families with children. A chalet we've been going to with our friends for years and it has maintained its high standards. Our home away from home in Val d'Isere.

Chalet Skadi are fantastic apartments. We love the location, just out of the main town but near a bus stop or a really easy walk. The apartments have everything you need and the staff are great. You can even order your pastry/bread to be delivered to your door for breakfast. The ski shop and supermarket are next door which is very handy. We have stayed here numerous times and it is our favourite place in Val d'Isere.

I am an Independent Travel Agent travelling with Crystal Ski this Easter with my family. Chalet Skadi is a lovely clean place with a boot room and a very nicely furnished large lounge area. Our apartment was clean, and hot showers with 2 bathrooms which makes all the difference with a family. The reception staff are very welcoming and accommodating at all times. The apartment was furnished to a higher standard than other French self catering places and was more modern. We loved the location a short 8 minute walk into town but do not do this with your skis or boots as the buses are so regular and reliable you can hop on and hop off at your leisure. There is a pizza shop and a SPA supermarket next door. As this is a mountain resort and Val D'sere, expect to pay higher prices for food. |The spa was lovely - it would have been prudent to have the steam room in operation for the busy break rather than being out of order. The sauna was nice but a bit busy at times. |My two improvements are as follows;|we had a room which had 2 windows which overlooked the corridor directly and we felt like we had to have the blinds shut at all time for privacy making it darker. If you obscured the glass on those windows it would solve the problem and let light into the apartment. Secondly, whilst the apartment was clean, the floor had not been mopped as I had to wipe something off the floor and it was not clean at all. Our suitcases were more dusty and dirty than when we arrived! Also, there was quite thick dust underneath the beds which again, should be both hoovered and mopped given the check in time is 5pm so all solvable. I would definitely stay here again though. ||On a separate note, Crystal Ski have a very odd transfer where we had to change vehicles 3 times and on the final run from La Daille, we had to wait whilst another family were taken to their accommodation before us as there was only one 8 seater meaning what should have been a 2 hour transfer turned into 3. Not good if

We had a terrific week at Chalet Skadi. Friendly and professional staff, well thought out apartment floor plan, spacious ski room right off the lobby, Good location - near the center of town, but not in a noisy area. Ski bus very convenient. Overall wer had an excellent stay.

Hello, We stayed here over Feb half term and the Chalet is well located and nice. Despite it being a busy period, the staff ensure everything functions and we are grateful for that. The recommended ski equipment hire shop next door is really good. There is also a Spar and Pizza shop next door.
