Not much to see, but still Nice to walk around. No entrance fee.
If you think of what would be possible when the amazonian rain forest is around the corner than it makes no sence to walk there to not really see much.
This park is worth a visit if you are passing through in this direction. They have informative placards up to provide an education about the various plants. The different species of palms are well displayed. If you're curious to explore, you could likely spend up to 45 minutes wandering around.
Half of the area is closed ... but it is for free
A pleasant place to spend an afternoon. Lots of information (in French) about the various trees and plants of French Guiana.
Frankly, these gardens were not too well kept. Many of the sidewalks were cracked, and there wasn't too much foliage or plant life.
Open only on weekends from 11 am
Relaxing place to sit on a cool day.
