I've changed train here from Ghent to Paris and had to change from Lille Flanders to Lille Europe. For anyone not familiar with travelling to Paris transiting in Lille, the two stations are within 10 minutes walk from each other. Here I am again catching the TGV from Lille Europe to Amsterdam via Brussels Midi. This station is big and can be accessed via metro if you're already in Lille. Hall 3 has a warm la Salle d'attente room especially in winter. There're escalators, lifts at this station. There's also public lavatory (it costs to use). There's cafés here as well. The platforms are on the lower ground level and accessible by steps, lifts and escalators.

The process for Eurostar departures is easy but the departure lounge can really do with a duty free shop. Otherwise, a very cool LGV Nord station.

Beautiful town we walked around thr main square area and it was a great experience

The Eurostar and border staff were warm and friendly however the departure lounge was disappointing. There was only one toilet cubicle available for all the male passengers and not enough places to sit. Several empty chairs had been taped off. The station is partially open to the elements which in this case meant waiting for my passport to be checked and then for the slightly delayed train on a bitterly cold and snowy afternoon.

Fabulous city, far more beautiful & historic than I'd expected. A lovely place to explore with its historic cobbled streets & lovely old buildings, linger over a beer or coffee in la Grande Place. Lovely shops & so many boulangeries, patisseries, chocolateries & the magnificent Meert.

A day trip to Lille on the 3rd of September ,for the renound Lille Market. It turned out to be great. The sea of people which usually would feel daunting was great as no-one was in a rush,making the atmosphere somewhat unreal.It gave me hope that humanity is not yet ready to give up. The city itself is mesmerising with great buildings and lovely cobbled streets. Worth a visit ,not to forget the food. Will be back.

Easy to navigate as there are only 4 tracks. Main through to Disney Paris so quite a crowd.
