Best place to stay on the island. The half board (which includes breakfast and dinner) makes it good value. The restaurant is excellent.

Utter disappointment. This place is marketed as a high-end place but everything went wrong. Firstly, our room didn’t have hot water. It took 30 minutes for the technician to come see the problem and he was dismissive of the issue. We had to change rooms and then the next room didn’t have enough water pressure. Our friends’ room didn’t have heating at all and the room was at 15 degrees most of the time. They had to request a portable heater/radiator. The restaurant was very average and the service was chaotic. Drinks and dishes didn’t come out in the right order (a major faux pas in France). After ordering the duck dish, the manager came to us 15 minutes later to say that there’s no duck and it is replaced with a steak. After entrées/starters, the waiter came out with desserts and we indicated that we haven’t had our mains. They had forgotten us. Mains came out after a few reminders and by that time, most of the guests had finished eating and left, including many who arrived much after us. The steak replacement we found was a fatty and cheaper cut of meat, which should have been reduced in price. The fish dish, lotte, was lacking flavour, was mostly bitter and the rice was not cooked correctly. By the time we had finished, it was midnight. Breakfast was okay but small round tables are not practical for groups. People were moving tables around and blocking access to the buffet. The caesar salad at lunch had the equivalent of 3 leaves of iceberg lettuce, 60g of chicken, a dozen tiny croutons and a drizzle of sauce for 22 euros. There were a few aspects that were positive. Pick up to and from the port was convenient and you can also have them just transport your baggage if you want to spend some time in town or hiking. The place looks nice, even though it’s getting a bit run down and dated. There are some nice areas around like beaches and a fort. The place also seems quite calm and peaceful but we were there during the off-season. Overall, my advice is: don’t bothe

I just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful stay we had at your hotel. We have travelled extensively and stayed at many hotels, and we both agreed that yours is truly special. It has real character: the setting is amazing, the building and rooms are elegant, and every member of staff we met was fantastic. We look forward to returning soon, and this time with our kids! Thank you again, and take care. Michiel

Authentic Provencal mas. Excellent staff at reception, pool and at dinner. Quality and choices at breakfast buffet can't be topped. Refined dinners. Room was a bit tight for two but didn't matter because we were out hiking and swimming all day, and the bathroom and shower were renovated and spacious. We loved our experience at the Mas and on the island.

The location of Le Mas du Langoustier is hidden in the forest on the incredibly beautiful island. It’s as if you are staying in a private chateau. The grounds are beautifully manicured. They have their own beach, pool, bar and restaurant. It was often a difficult choice to go into the village. They have a shuttle that takes you to the village, port and this amazing art museum that is also in the middle of the forest. I traveled with my 2 adult daughters . We had a very comfortable room that had 2 bedrooms and a balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. All the staff is friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return !

Once upon a time, the Mas du Langoustier must have been a truly luxurious place, but today the only thing that still feels exceptional is the natural setting, whereas the house itself no longer radiates any real charm. From the start, arriving in a rattling old bus at the unattractive rear of the hotel facing construction vehicles and sheds felt far from the glamour suggested online, and during the entire stay the staff, especially at reception, showed little friendliness or hospitality.||||The room we were given did not match the one shown on the website and lay at the end of a corridor with the morbid charm of bygone times and a faint musty smell, reinforcing the impression of an old sanatorium untouched by renovation. The pool lies on a grassy field apart from the hotel and has all the charm of a worn-out municipal bath, looking as though it has not changed in decades.||||It is advertised as offering a “déconnexion totale”, which seems a generous way of describing the absence of many expected features. The food is very good, but you must like exactly what is included in the half-board package or else pay extra for à la carte. The terrace view is truly beautiful, but almost everything else felt tired, overpriced, and lacking warmth — even a tiny drink at the bar came at a price more suited to Saint-Tropez than Porquerolles. A pity — perhaps we should have come 20 years ago.

Lunch was a total disaster. We were a group of 6 adults ready to have a nice birthday meal. We waited about 40’’ for the starter and then 50’ for the entrees! We waited so long that we ended up cancelling dessert and coffee and left. The quality of the food was below par considering the exorbitant prices . €36 for a chicken breast that was too dry and with basically no accompaniment. Nobody came to inform us that they were late serving because of a large group that ordered lobster… really disappointing.

Great lunch experience. Congrats to the chef and the staff for the high level menu and service. The calm and marvellous view added to the experience to make this a special moment. Distance is not a problem with the free shuttle from the village. I do recommend.
