Visited Hôtel du Grand Parc 25th & 26th December over Christmas, arrived at 16:00 hrs 25th, which made the actual entry much more difficult than usual operation. It took me 55 minutes to get in to the Hotel & baggage to the room & understand how gain access to use the lifts from the underground garage * (only suitable for small vehicles with expert drivers with very good parking skills.) Since my last visit to Gex a few years ago there is a brand new covered parking just over the road which I recommend you to use once you have dropped off you baggage in the entry hall. I met a very pleasant staff member who gave assistance once the desk was manned again on the 26th. The hôtel room was cleaned during my two day stay. No adjacent restaurant facilities available as was closed for Christmas break. Breakfast was served in room, around 09:00 o'clock. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again when I need, my dog was very comfortable & it's pleasant to find hotel's still accepting animals with all the problems of owners not looking after their animals needs, causing a general ban for all dogs which is spreading across France making, dog accompanying very difficult in 2025-2026. Thanks again to the staff for their service.

We stayed 3 nights, slightly overpriced, located about 20-30 mins drive from GVA city centre. Hotel room was clean, bed comfortable, hot/cold water in bathroom. Kettle/tea/coffee was provided but was not refilled everyday, we had to ask at the reception for Tea and Milk. There was no fridge, no microwave, no water bottles in the room and no English language TV channels, Did not opt for breakfast so cannot comment on it.

We broke down and stayed here for 5 nights waiting for our motorhome to be fixed. Super helpful staff. Warm and quiet room, shutters are great. Shower could be hotter. There are a few places to eat and a bar nearby. 2 supermarkets walkable. Good value considering location

beste value for money in this neighbourhood: a clean and practical room, great bathroom, new matress and soooo silient and dark, thanks to the shutters....I slept for 11 hours, better than at home. I can really recommend this hotel, especially if you're not into breakfast ;-)

Stayed for the weekend with my partner. Very clean, quiet with friendly staff.||Excellent location short walk to centre Ville and opposite lovely park. Next to bus stops for easy access to local towns and change at nearby Fourney for bus to Geneva airport. Restaurant attached to hotel is excellent. Priced very reasonably.

Bright, modern, clean hotel that is good value for money. Parking is a bit tight in the underground car park. Reception staff are pleasant, charming and helpful. Rooms are nicely done. Only small issue was the traffic noise if your room is at the front of the hotel.

Nice simple clean reasonably priced hotel near the centre of Gex. Given a room with balcony overlooking park ( albeit over main road) with views of mountains. Short walk to a few Gex restaurants and bars. Hotel has Vesuvio restaurant on ground floor. This looked fine but decided to explore more. Parking (free) in lot next door and also parking underneath hotel not sure if this is charged or not. Helpful receptionist. Spotlessly clean. Recommended.

Digusting! No staff in attendance on Saturday afternoon. The key is left for us with a nearby restaurant manager. The room is on the first floor, not on forth with a view as booked. Disgusting smell of tobacco and cheap motel odourant in supposedly non smoking room. The walls are with dirty smear marks all around the room even with some damage. Sound insulation from the corridor and other rooms is next to nothing. Dressing mirror for hobbits is mounted at the height that I can see myself from feet up to the belt. And the bathroom is a separate story. Instead of glass cubicle as pictured on the website we got a dirty shower curtain hanging on a skewed rail. Dirty shower floor almost levelled with the floor tiles. Hot shower? Forget it. Luke warm water poorly flowing from the shower head runs down the curtain and floods the entire bathroom. No surprise the mould is in the floor grout. Toilet is fixed so close to the rail for the disabled that I can sit on it only at slight angle. The bathroom from the hell I forgot to mention the car park. To get in and out you have to be a virtuoso driver preferably with someone assisting from outside. It took me at least ten reversing manoeuvres to get out. Well, we spent entire evening looking for another hotel in the area and checked out next morning. It was booked for a week. Lost a lot of money. Avoid at any cost.
