We got the Ibis Budget instead of Ibis 3*. The hotel told us that Trip.com booked us into Ibis Budget, not Ibis (they are in the same building), but Trip compensated us with coins.

This is an Ibis hotel very near the center of San-Jean-de-Luz. The hotel is clean and I specially like the room colors and decoration. The bathroom inside the room, is a cabin, which is not ideal, but since we stayed only for one night it was ok. We asked for a baby bed, they forgot it, when we told them about it they just brought the bed and the blanket to our room door. So, no Mattress and no bed sheets. Since they prepared the sofabed, we ended up using it to sleep with our baby. We arrived pretty late with 2 small children, so we wouldn't build the bed, so the whole situation was not nice.

WRONG ROOM BOOKING FROM TRIP.COM - there is ibis budget (2*) right next door and trip.com wrongly booked me to the budget hotel, although I paid for the full ibis!! Please confirm your booking with the hotel prior to arrival to avoid nasty surprises. That said, ibis *budget* was clean, looked decently newly renovated, and was very comfortable.
