OLAFA PONTICUS

It is located in Melun, France. Public transport is within distance, like Melun Train station is only 10 minutes walk from this homestay. The owner of the home stay are Mr Franck and Mrs Franck (Emma). Both are very kind and warmly received us. The rooms are spacious and clean. Dining table and kitchen with full pan and cutlery are ready to use. The owner gave good breakfast. There is also a free charger station for car available for guest and also have good internet speed. For sure, we feel like home, and definitely will come back here.

A nice old style house. Run by a very friendly couple who make every attempt to help you enjoy your stay. Excellent quality high speed internet. Just over 5 min walk from the train station which has non-stop service to Gare Lyon. The service they offer deserves 5 stars but I'm only giving 3 because the toilet isn't in the room (is out in the corridor) and the incredibly noisy main road directly outside the window. I was there on a moderately hot late summer night but even at 1am the constant noise from heavy trucks either bouncing over rough sections of road or revving their engines to pull away from the traffic lights just outside forced me to close the window (and hence bake in the room instead).

We only stayed for one night as a transit stop, but it could easily have been more. Beautiful house (architecture and decoration), cute and clean rooms, very comfortable bed and very friendly hosts. Wifi is excellent and for free. We would stay there again if we are in the area.

The best hostel with very good Indonesian taste and service next to Paris. The owners are very helpful and kind. During your stay, you will feel if you are in your home. Free wifi, and breakfast.

We did an overnight stop after 3 days at Disneyland Paris whilst travelling to St Hiliare for the remainder of our stay in France.||||Frank is a really friendly host and made sure we had everything we needed for our short stay.||||The annex to the main house is a good size and comfortably accommodated five people and could manage 8 if required. The whole family had a really good sleep thanks to the high quality beds which was welcome after the long days beforehand.||||Property is in need of a bit of an update in the bathroom and kitchen and hence I've rated it 4/5.

A great stay in a house with a distinctive architecture. We were welcomed with the warmth of Indonesian hospitality. The rooms and private bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast menu is complete (hopefully in the near future the inn can offer menu of Indonesian food that can be ordered à la carte). The inn is located in a typical French residential environment. It is very strategic, just a few minutes walk from Melun Station. La Rochette can be reached easily from Paris, there is direct train from Paris (Gare de Lyon) to Melun (only 26 minutes). For those who are curious about visiting Indonesia, or for those who miss returning to Indonesia, or for those who travel to France but still want Indonesian atmosphere, this inn is highly recommended. Located at national road of Avenue de General Lecrec, Apakabar provide excellent services and very good facilities. Enjoy the beautiful house, close to beautiful fountainbleau forest. Very close to Melun train station, 25 minutes from heart of Paris.

We stayed one night but were made to feel very welcome,. the Owner even brought wine to our room on arrival. ||Breakfast was excellent with the international flavor of great hosts.||||We will stay again if traveling in this area
