We spent a few nights early march in this Maisons du Monde hotel and it was very enjoyable. All the staff we met had always been helpful and very kind, very easy and nice experience overall. The room was great, very clean, the furnitures were good. The bathroom was very clean and easy to use for 2 people. The bedding was comfortable (the bed was a bit in the bigger side than what we usually like but it was fine, you just need 4-5 minutes to reach the other side of the bed while rolling). We did not benefit from the breakfast as Marseille also had a lot of nice places to offer in the area and had a full agenda, but we regretted it a bit as it seemed very good! Next time we will make sure to taste it! The shared areas are a bit small, but nicely furnished and comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located, we did not have any discomfort from the noise of the area. Maybe our new favorite place to stay in the area? We’ll definitely try again!

First of all we are Americans and know VERY little French. The staff were so very gracious, patient, helpful and attentive to our needs. The view of the harbor and Norman Fosters creation were amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Jamie Oliver , a British chef, credited this hotel on one of his programs. If we ever come back to Marseille, we will definitely stay her. God bless .

Small rooms, but very well situated in the old part of the harbour. Breakfast diversed with cold and hot dishes, very tasty puree juices. Very kind staff. The metro station is 1 minute by foot from the hotel. Could be noisy sometimes due to the parties in the neighbourhood.

I have to say Lei or Leah was superb. She made our stay exceptionally memorable. Service was amazing and the Hotel rooms and bathrooms incredible! Always attentive and friendly! Will be back soon! We left an IPad and contacted me immediately! Strongly recommend this Hotel!!

Location is the best thing the hotel has to offer. When we arrived, we went through the usual check in process, the credit card was charged for the stay + deposit, and the keys to the room were given. Then they tell us that the elevator is broken, and we have to go up a few flights of stairs to get to the room. We are not spring chickens anymore, but no questions were asked if we are capable of doing it. Once we got to the room and opened the door, there were yet another five steps to get to the bed 🙄. The room itself was very disappointing, way to tiny.

Great location. Rooms with harbor views are noisy but worth it if you want to live the Vieux Port experience. Great breakfast and special mention for Louisa whose smile and kindness make all the difference!!! ❤️

Location felt off the beaten track because we arrived so late. When we walked into our suite we were blown away. It was so lovely and spacious. In the morning we were in the heart of Marseilles shopping and waterfront. Spectacular. Will definitely recommend and hopefully be back.

Awful experience Hotel decor was cheap looking, photos are very touched up Bedroom was tiny. Im 6 foot 2 and my feet were coming off the end of the bed. Had 3 terrible nights of sleep. AC didn't work. It was 20 degrees outside and the hotel had the heating on full blast. Impossible to sleep at night. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes in November because we had to leave the window open. Bathroom was tiny I could barely fit in it Bathroom extractor fan didn't work so the room was insanely humid after a shower Carpets were dirty Coffee machine was broken Only thing good about this hotel is the location. Do not recommend
