I found this hotel via Bookings.com at €100 per night.||This Aparthotel is within 10 mins walk to casino square and has plenty of local eating places in the immediate area.||I was offered a breakfast option through bookings.com for €13 per person per night which I did not opt. The Aparthotel charges €19 pppn.||The breakfast is a simple continental option and looks basic but enough. 0730-1030am so check your flight times.||I was going to book Fairmont at €700 per night but was full and I’m actually pleased as this Aparthotel offers everything needed.||I opted for studio room type that was oversized and had fridge and facilities if you wanted to prepare basic snacks. ||I have given 5 stars not for the furnishings or service but based on location and price, I would certainly return.||Monaco is not suited to people that have limited mobility issues due to steep surfaces and I’m glad I visited but disappointed compared to what you see on TV.||I arranged private transfers from airport at €70 per way and it suited my needs.||You can opt for a train which costs €6 if you are more active.||Have a great stay and yes Rick it off your list but 2 nights is more than enough or stay in Nice and book a day tour to view French Riviera and Monte Carlo will be included.
If you enjoy proper Air Conditioning, this NOT the hotel for you. The staff are nice but actually claim they never have AC complaints, but the reviews are littered with them! And they leave fans in the closets but they are old and dirty. Never cleaned. Even the breakfast area has no ventilation or AC. Temperature inside the rooms is minimum 26-28, outside is actually cooler. You can leave the windows open, but outside is very loud. Poor management by Accor, definitely not to their standards. I even asked to speak to the manager three times and the manager never came or called.
The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. It had everything needed for our stay and exceeded our expectations.
What a find. Easy walk from station and 10/15 mins from the main attractions on the waterfront. Pictured is the view from outside hotel, cutting out the horror of having to scale next heights. To top it off, given room on 7th floor by lovely male receptionist whose name I unfortunately did not ask. Room it was not but an apartment it was - full kitchen and small table with four chairs, balcony with table and seat. Large bathroom with good facilities. Comfy double bed and big sofa. Recommend highly for winter price I got! (£70). Lovely little indoor market next door for food and a drink to start the night.
We stayed here in a 2 bedroom apartment over Easter. The apartment was very spacious but the paintwork was chipped on all the doors and the lighting needs to be improved in the hallway. Breakfast was adequate, but not always replenished quickly enough. The reception staff didn’t seem very friendly as they didn’t look up to acknowledge you when you walked right past them! These are all easy fixes! |The pool was also closed during our stay which was very disappointing. If we had been made aware of this beforehand we would have chosen to stay in a different less expensive hotel. |Good location though, 5 minutes walk to Casino Square and bus stops to take you to the harbour, old town and palace. The train station is about 10 mins walk away if you’re looking to explore more of the Cote D’Azur.
You need to use the parking garage (Parking Indigo Beausoleil Belle-Époque) – the hotel provides a discount (€18/24h, with in-and-out access as needed). Great location – just a 10-minute walk to the Monte Carlo Casino. Right next to the hotel there’s a nice bakery (pastry shop) and a Carrefour grocery store. Pet-friendly – €6 per night for a dog. There’s a small pool. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchenette. Downside: the AC seemed to be working, but it didn’t actually cool the room.
We arrived after 8 hours of travelling to be told the room wasn't available even though it was about 4 o'clock and check-in is supposed to be at 3. Reception said they clean between 3 and 5.30pm and the room may not be available until 5.30pm. This is unacceptable. Check out for this hotel is 11am. What were they doing since the last occupants left? We were allowed to use the pool in the meantime which was ok but not what we wanted to do after a day of travelling. Access to the pool is bizarre. Through dingy corridors and stairs you reach the roof top and a fairly grim changing area. Cannot access the pool in shoes as the only way to the pool area is through a water filled trough - like going through a sheep dip for farm animals. Breakfast was one of the worst I've had anywhere in the world and not worth paying for.
Honestly, the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in any hotel/apartment. The staff seem genuinely irritated to do anything. Goodness forbid you ask them anything. Worst than a cheap youth hostel, avoid at all cost. The grey haired man with the top knot on the front desk is dismissive and frankly rude. You get what you pay for, cheap accommodation and bad service.
