Most reviews here are purely political. No matter one’s opinion about energy policies, the central should be discussed here only in its quality of landmark. And as a landmark it rocks, the view is quite impressive from afar, especially when 2+ reactors are *en route*. The best spots for observing the nuclear power plant are, in my opinion, from the fields on the way to Schengen or even from the train on the way to Luxembourg. Bonus point if observed during a foggy day, the cooling towers give out an omnious vibe which is super impressive. From close by, one can observe the gigantism of such structure and all the engineering that went into building 4 of those reactors. Plus the staff around the plant is quite friendly and won’t be to bothered by you as long as your not filming too much !

Negative reviews are just about politics. It certainly is the only realistic alternative if wanting zero CO2 emission energy production of significance in France for the next 20 years. So far, zero leaks reported since production started in 1987. Because Japan built a power plant backup generator than cannot survive a Tsunami in a tsunami area and thus cause a melt-down, doesn't mean it will be dangerous in France :)

Just went past this morning a spectacular sight ! 2 of the 4 cooling towers active, blowing harmless water vapour (ie. steam) into the sky... Actually quite fancy a minature version for the house 😎

Cleanest and most realistic power source we have for clean energy. People should learn for themselves and not what your politics claim. Try watching Oliver stones new documentary.

The food was good. I orderd the cathch of the day. It was glowing yellow but really tasty. The waiter was fast. Maybe thats because he has 3 legs and 4 arms
