A lot of good activities - there are nice places to eat , and several good slopes all around . I believe that every traveler will find smth there for yourselves

The ski area is wonderful, with breathtaking views. However, there are a few areas that could benefit from some improvements. For instance, the icy sidewalks near the Prodains bus stop and the Planey office presented a safety hazard. Additionally, some popular slopes are rather narrow and lack sufficient safety measures, a fall near the edge could be quite dangerous. Finally, some of the older lifts could be upgraded, they tend to move rather quickly when boarding and lack adequate space for skis. Aside from these minor points, the slopes, views, and scenery were truly exceptional. Avoriaz and Morzine are enchanting destinations.

Lots of Pisten Kilometers but slow chairlifts, and due to warmer climate and the moderate altitude not as snow safe as it was few years ago. Nice Village in Avoriaz and ok Pricing

Morzine is a huge town with lots of Brits in and every amenity you could need. Beautiful place, lots of pretty buildings. Les Portes du Soleil is a major skisports destination in the Alps, encompassing twelve resorts between Mont Blanc in France and Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Awesome! Fantastic slopes, well maintained lifts and gondolas and tons of instructors if you need a refresher!

The bus system in chatel is the worst I have ever experienced. To get to the slopes or return home you have to get a shuttle bus, they are meant to be every 15mins but are much more sporadic than that. They are always full and often don’t stop for you to get on at the stop. This morning three buses went past before we could get on, waiting for around 40mins. Returning home there are ridiculous queues and they don’t put any additional services on at peak times, it can take upwards of an hour to get on. Furthermore the buses on some of the lines stop around 1730 so no chance of apres or a dinner in town. Hugely disappointing and really ruined our trip.

Tranquil lake, with beautiful autumn colours at this time of year. Pathway all around the lake. Dog friendly.

An incredible selection of ski runs, fabulous restaurants and bars with some amazing vistas of the Alps. An awesome place to visit.
