I and 3 friends from the UK had a really fantastic trip with la Rébenne on their ‘Grande Traversée des Pyrénées’ in September 2023. The trip was well organised, the hotels & food were generally excellent, and the 'esprit de corps' among the 14 riders from UK, Germany & France was great. It will leave me with many happy memories. Thanks LaRébenne for an incredible & unforgettable 8 days experience though the Pyrenean mountains. Marin, who accompanied us throughout the 'traversée' knowns his way very well, super helpful and friendly. With the exception of one place, we stayed in nice family run hotels & offering great food. Highly recommended!

Planned pre-Covid, the trip didn't happen in 2020, and would not have happened in '21 either, if Larebenne had not offered us the reassurance that our hosts every single night were totally prepared for us. The southern route of the Sentier Cathare from Quillan to Durban offered a wide variety of landscapes, climate, cultural & historical interest. The long walks may have been intimidating on paper, but the detailed guidebook and maps kept us on track. On two occasions, a shortcut was offered and planned, with taxi drivers who were very accommodating. With cumulative ages of 195 years, our group of 3 women were able to keep up with the pace without sacrificing the fascinating visits of the medieval castles. This was facilitated by the shuttle service of our luggage from one day to the next, totally reliably there when needed. Our hosts offered ample and delicious food; it was an easy choice to request a lunch for the next day, saving us the trouble of figuring where we'd be able to eat during the day. An extra patisserie or some fruit at a market stand in some village was a treat we enjoyed with no guilt. The logistics were all figured out well in advance, with steady communication by internet. Questions were answered quickly. No problem occurred as we had it all rehearsed, the Covid headaches included. I'd highly recommend using the services offered by Larebenne. Marie

Well organized, nice routes and a very good selection of the best Tour de France climbs

The Cathar Way was a tough but exceptional walk! La Rébenne did a great job supporting us. Being in the region means that they know the area and accommodations well. And the hosts at any place we stayed spoke highly of the company. We are a retired couple and this was our 10th long distance walk. So we have lots to compare it with. April was a perfect time for it. The wildflowers and birds were amazing. We stop for a rest day about every four walking days. This approach was perfect because it allowed us to visit the Cathar Castles without rushing, plus local museums. The walks are long but easy to modify by taking a taxi part way. The scenery, culture, and terrific hosts make this a walk we would highly recommend. Thanks La Rébenne!

Pour notre 4e road trip avec l'agence LaRebenne, nous avons été pleinement satisfaites de l'organisation de cette agence très sérieuse et à l'écoute de ses clients. Nous avons fait "les chemins cathares" de Quillan à Durban Corbières en passant sur des sites magnifiques tels que les gorges de la Jaume et de Galamus sans oublier l'emblématique village de Cucugnan et son moulin. Pour les amateurs de randonnées avec un dénivelé de plus de 800 m ces étapes vous ravirons (forêts, garrigues, vue sur les montagnes enneigées, châteaux connus ou pas). L'accueil de nos hôtes sur les différents gîtes a été très chaleureux et les repas très satisfaisants. A nos prochaines aventures......
