A surprisingly well-preserved XIVth century castle built during the series of conflicts of the Delphino-Savoyard War between Savoy and Dauphiné, both counties belonging to the Holy Roman Empire. The man opening the castle is a local historian that knows many things. You can also buy some postcards of the place for a low price. Visiting the castle allows to go in the towers and enjoy the view. Several rooms display toys, armors and weapons alike.

Visited with my husband in July, fascinating history... the Savoy region is so incredible! The nice guide there gave us so much useful and intriguing information! Then we were able to explore the castle on our own (which we love)

Very good guide who patiently explained the details of the castle, but in itself it is quite small for European standards.

Friendly and helpful people at the chateau. There's some information in english available. But the Lego and Playmobil scenes were not really my thing. Nice view over the valley. A plain castle.

Take your bike and go up until the castle! Views are amazing and very green scenery. Nature is worth exploring around this area. There’s a little restaurant in the hamlet right next to the castle that’s very nice too.

it is really worth visiting, I did a hiking with my friends, you can start from Saint Germain at Amberieu - en- bugey, it is well indicated by the panel, beautiful place to appreciate the panoramic view and sunset

Stumbled across this but really worth a trip. It’s in such brilliant condition, the guy working was very knowledgable with great English and amazing views to be seen from up here

Visited on a foggy day. Really suggestive. The visit is short but it is really worth it.
