BATI TIME FACADE

We went for the Lobster Brunch for mother's day last year and this year. Last year was fabulous but this year was such a disappointment. The problems started when they couldn't find my booking as we entered. Ok, perhaps there was a technical issue, we were shown to a table anyway. Shortly after that a server came to ask if I had actually paid. This was a bizarre request as I'd shown her my payment confirmation and reservation confirmation already. She then asked her manager to help out who asked the same question...all this at the table where *I'm trying to ensure my wife enjoys mother's day*. Eventually that was settled, but then we turn to the service - asking a server for a bottle of water or a tea meant a 20 minute wait to ever see that server again only to have to remind them that we'd asked them for something long before. The final straw came when we realised we'd been there for almost 2 hours and hadn't been given the lobster! It's a lobster brunch, it's nice to have a bit of bread and cheese and a pastry or two but I'd paid €99 per adult and I don't think the other little bits of food justified the price without the lobster! In the end that was brought with an apology but by then we were tired. I'm not sure what changed between this year and last year which was much better. There seems to be a technical problem with reservations and then an organisation problem with the servers who disappear for 20 minutes each time you ask them for something. Next year we're going elsewhere.

The moment you enter the gates you know you have found a very special place to spend the night! The building is stunning as are the rooms and the grounds plus beautiful pool area really do make this off the beaten track b and b a perfect resting place.

I made a booking with the hotel on 1st July which was confirmed. The hotel then wrote to me on 12th July to confirm our booking and arrival time. On 14th July we received a telephone call to apologise, to say they had double booked the room and that our booking was cancelled. No decent hotel should do that

Amazing place to stay, so quiet and peaceful. The owners go out of their way to provide for you.

Beautiful wedding venue. Hardricourt is a picturesque city with lots of hilltop houses.

Le château est sublime, l'espace est grand, beau, un véritable petit paradis. Et pour accompagner ce lieu magnifique un traiteur au top qui cuisine merveilleusement bien des viandes d'une tendresse et d'une très bonne qualité sans oublier ses pomme de terre au brasero qui marquent la mémoire j'ai rarement aussi bien manger. Le traiteur en question et son commis de cuisine (je suppose) furent tout deux d'une grande écoute et d'une grande réactivité fasse a nos demandes tout était parfait.
