It was great to be here with kids. The picnic area is great and you can hire Rosalie or golf cart to go around the domaine. The forest has nice easy treks to do with kids and the little animal farm is cute. I highly recommend it

Château de Dampierre-en-Yvelines is a beautiful and charming place to visit, with its stunning castle and lovely grounds. Although some of the buildings are in need of renovation, the charm and history of the estate shine through. You can truly feel the character of the place, and it’s clear that funding would help restore its former glory. One of the highlights is the opportunity to take a relaxing horse-drawn carriage ride around the estate, which adds a magical touch to the experience. I also highly recommend renting a golf cart to explore the grounds at your leisure—it's a fun and convenient way to take in all the beauty without tiring yourself out. A unique surprise is the dinosaur skeleton on display, which adds an unexpected twist to the visit and is sure to intrigue both children and adults. There’s a quaint outdoor café where you can sit and enjoy a coffee or snack while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to spend a day, full of history and charm!
