Good food, but not great. We had a nice starter and main. Dessert was tasteless. Portions are small, the main was almost smaller than the starter. Service was kind, but very slow, we had to wait a lot between courses. Overpriced for what you get at almost EUR 40 per person for two small courses and a glass of wine. Overall our visit was disappointing, there are better value options in Bergerac.
If you are visiting Bergerac, this restaurant is an excellent choice. The plate presentation is done very carefully and the teste of the food..... incredible!!! Despite there aren't gluten free options, the chef managed to change the menu in order to make it gluten free, by replacing the problematic ingredients by other ones. To do that one must know what is doing as we were informed which ingredients were replaced by what. The service could not be better as well. Yes, this is a must go restaurant.
The food is good but not great, and the portions are not generous so you’ll find better value in most places around Bergerac. The service was very slow. We might have picked an unlucky evening. Based on all the reviews I expected something very different. 31€ for a 2 course menu, 37€ for 3 courses.
Small place with a little menu, but of high quality. Staff (2 people) is very friendly and relaxed. They speak English. I am really impressed by the nice dishes, not just the standard you see everywhere. Nice modern cooking with fresh ingredients. Good food for very friendly prices, lots of choices for a good wine or other drinks. The place is also very clean. This is definitely my best choice in Bergerac. Worth to come back for.
Best of the trip Wonderful hand made food, with French ingredients, by an English chef, with great service, and modestly priced.From appetizers, to plates, to desserts, each unique, blending excellent tastes. Can't miss!
