We booked via ski planet the Foret du Praz residence, managed by Cimalpes. The booking process via Ski Planet was straightforward and the guidance from Cimalpes for any additional enquiries were excellent . Upon arrival we checked in easily and received some arrival gifts as well, appreciated! The bed sheets etc were all made ready in the rented apartment as well the fridge was stacked with food enough for a week. Excellent! Our visits to the grocery shop were really limited this time and saved us time and stress! Definitely recommend to add food when booking with ski planet. The apartment, 3 bedrooms, had enough space for 5 with a large living room. Unfortunately there was only a mini tv, more like a 12 inch monitor to fill some evenings. On the last day also the washing machine broke but Cimalpes took care of it. The location of the residence was as we had expected it to be with a large parking area. It felt at all times also safe and close to everything.
I have been renting chalets in courchevel every year for the past decade or so and this agency is by far takes the crown for the worst agency in the 3 valleys. Steer away at all costs!! Unprofessional, unresponsive, way below par service. The contract states 5 hours of daily house keeping but house keeping barely does anything and leaves in less than half an hour. Lots of maintenance issues that were at best poorly addressed. At the end of our stay, they basically blamed all past issues on us and are taking our security deposit. Reading through the reviews it seems this unethical practice is baked in their business model to keep the security deposit!
Very disappointing experience. After our stay, we were wrongly accused of damages we did not cause, and this was then used as a reason to withhold our security deposit. Throughout the stay, the service was extremely poor. Almost every day we had to raise complaints, and none of the issues were properly resolved. What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into constant follow-ups and frustration. I have been coming to Courchevel for over 10 years and have rented many chalets, and I have never experienced anything like this before. This was by far the worst service I’ve encountered. If you are planning to visit Courchevel, I strongly recommend avoiding renting through this agency.
Very poor services. Called them about wifi password which they gave us a wrong one. And then called them how to use the ski locker and they never got back to us. And then, our skis got locked in because their locker malfunctioned. They can’t get the technician in. Terrible service.
Our second family holiday experience with Cimalpes was very satisfying. Everything that was promised before our stay was delivered perfectly. The team is very successful.
We recently stayed in a rental apartment in Courchevel, France through Cimalpes. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful — stylish, well-furnished, and in a prime location near the chairlift, shops, and great restaurants. However, there were a few things we wish we had known in advance. The apartment is extremely vertical, with the kitchen and living room located at the very top floor. This setup made it a bit of a climb and difficult to socialize especially after a long day out. The staff, particularly the woman who helped us with booking dinner reservations, was incredibly helpful and patient. I know I wasn’t the easiest guest at times, but she went above and beyond to assist us, and I really appreciated that. That said, there were a few issues during our stay that didn’t quite match the “luxury rental” label. The safe in one of the rooms never worked, and hot water in was inconsistent — both problems were addressed, but not fully resolved. We also ran out of toilet paper and were told we had to buy our own, which seemed odd for a high-end rental. Similarly, when we requested washcloths, we were told to purchase those ourselves too. After way too much negotiation, they ended up dropping off and handful of unpackaged, loose rolls of toilet paper. Finally, being asked to take out the trash upon departure felt a little out of place for a luxury stay. I understand respecting the property, but that level of self-service wasn’t what we expected. Overall, a beautiful property in an unbeatable location, with some standout service — but also a few things that left us scratching our heads.
Our experience with Cimalps was extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise against booking with them. Their communication is terrible—every time we reached out, we were bounced between different employees, and no one seemed to take responsibility for anything. Before our arrival, they charged us for something completely different from what was originally communicated. When we confronted them, they admitted their mistake and promised a refund. However, upon arrival, the path to our accommodation was completely blocked by snow and ice, making it dangerously slippery. We actually fell and injured ourselves. When we asked them to clear the path, they ignored our request and did nothing to resolve the issue. After our stay, things got even worse. Cimalps falsely accused us of leaving the apartment in an unacceptable state, even sending us photos of a completely different apartment to back up their claims. When we pointed this out, they shifted their argument and focused on the kitchen, where we had intentionally left good food behind instead of wasting it. They then attempted to charge us an outrageous **€270 cleaning fee**—for just two unwashed dishes and three glasses! When we confronted them again, they suddenly “negotiated” the fee down to €70, exposing their completely arbitrary and dishonest approach. This agency is unprofessional, unreliable, and appears to use deceptive tactics to extract extra money from guests. I highly recommend that anyone looking for accommodations in Courchevel **avoid Cimalps at all costs**. Do not trust the photos, and do not expect fair treatment.
Our recent stay at Cimalpes hotel was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we began the booking process to the very end of our stay, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The staff were prompt and efficient, making the reservation process hassle-free and straightforward. It set a positive tone for the rest of our experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the residence and apartment. It surpassed our expectations in every way. The accommodation was not only incredibly comfortable and spacious but also impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. There was a special energy about the place that made it feel like a true home away from home. The location of the hotel is truly unbeatable. Situated within walking distance from the ski lifts and gondolas, it made accessing the slopes effortless. However, what truly set Cimalpes apart was its exceptional team. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. We opted for the concierge pass and were delighted with the level of service we received. From restaurant reservations to invaluable advice on local attractions, their assistance was invaluable and greatly enhanced our stay. So impressed were we with our experience that we have already pre-booked our next stay, so we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Courchevel. In summary, if you're seeking a seamless booking process, exceptional accommodation, unbeatable location, and outstanding service, look no further than Cimalpes.
