Primus-Linie is a cruise along Main River that takes passengers to the attractions along the banks of both the West and East of the Main River. At first, we were concerned about whether we would be able to get the seats at the open-air area but after we embarked, our concerns were unfounded. The Primus-Linie cruise ship that we were on was actually quite spacious with 3 decks of seats! Even at the top deck, we were able to get private spots at the aft of the ship where we would be able to get unblocked views as well as wefie opportunities. There are 2 routes on the Main River Primus-Linie Cruise. Each route takes about 50 minutes and both loops would take 100 minutes. Both loops have their pros. For the West loop, there were more architectural structures that could be spotted from the cruise ship. For the East loop, we enjoyed the many bridges that we passed along the way – each with their own unique design and character. Along the way, there was also commentary in both German and English that pointed you and explained the sights enroute... We enjoyed this Main River cruise. We took the 100 minute cruise, up and down the Main River. The weather was great. Mostly sunny, light breeze and no rain. We sat outside on the top deck at a table that was partially covered from the sun. The audio narration is done in German and English. The food and beverage service was nice and had an extensive offering. The restrooms were on the lowest level (-1) and were modern and clean. The cruise was slow enough to walk around safely, which I did, taking about 100 photos. I can recommend this cruise to anyone. And I'd suggest taking the 50 minute cruise as you see plenty.

Awesome river cruise experience. We booked the 100 min ticket via their website. Boat not too crowded, but recommend getting on early if you want to sit at the front of the boat. Great commentary about landmarks etc in both German & English. We enjoyed a couple of beers on board as well, there was also food available. Great experience, staff were very friendly. Good way to see Frankfurt

It was a really experience. The tour guide spoke in German and English. I would recommend going on the red line, not the blue one. All the buildings were cool, and the boat was really nice.

Primus-Line offers a wonderful way to experience Frankfurt from a different perspective. The river cruise is relaxing and well organized, with comfortable seating and great views of the city skyline, bridges, and riverside landmarks. The staff are friendly and professional, and the atmosphere on board is calm and enjoyable. It’s an excellent option for sightseeing, whether you’re visiting Frankfurt for the first time or simply want to see the city in a more leisurely way. A highly recommended experience for anyone looking to enjoy the Main River.

We took the 100 min cruise, which was great. We enjoyed the smooth trip, with the incredible views of Frankfurt along the river. The voyage was comfortable with quick meals and drinks on offer, expertly served. Information about the surroundings is gently given in both German and English. Good value for money and a trip I highly recommend to all first time visitors to Frankfurt Am Main.

I took a lovely 1 hour cruise along the river. It was a great experience. There is plenty of seating in the open and a great bar service selling a selection of both international and local drinks. Personally I tried the local beer, it was fabulous of course. The cruise has a brilliant audio track explaining everything that you are seeing.

The tour is in both English and German. There is plenty of space in the winter to sit inside although there are a lot of children on the weekend. There is a menu and alcohol is served on board for purchase. It was a cold winter day, so I opted for a pot of peppermint tea. Easy ramp for wheel chair access.
