I can't understand how this restaurant got such high ratings. We were very disappointed. The only good thing we ate was the tarte flambe. The pizza dough tasted awful, as did the tomato sauce. The meat was bad, it was impossible to cut and was very difficult to chew. It's strange that even the fries were bad, it's hard to achieve that. The creme brulee was the worst I've ever had, the bottom was watery.

Very nice atmosphere on a little side street, we were seated on the terrace. The food was nice - we especially recommend the Flammkuchen ! Unfortunately we were too full to try desserts. The white wine Riesling was delicious! Service was a little overworked at times leading to a few slower than needed interactions. But very friendly! We reserved our table, which is necessary on a Saturday evening!

Delicious restaurant! The wait can be long to have indoor seats but very worth it. The meat and pizzas were super tasty. And the service was excellent

We had a wonderful dinner at Caveau St Jean in Colmar on Valentine’s Day. The pizza was absolutely delicious – perfectly baked with a crispy crust and rich, high-quality cheese that melted beautifully. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. We also tried the Paysanne salad, which was fresh, generous, and full of flavor, with excellent local cheese and perfectly balanced ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the service was friendly, and everything felt authentic and carefully prepared. Highly recommended if you are visiting Colmar and looking for a place with great food and a lovely ambiance! And the crème brûlée à la vanille was simply outstanding – the perfect sweet ending to our meal!.

The place opens at 6:30 PM. If you arrive earlier, make sure to get in line and enjoy your meal—it’s worth the wait! Reservations have priority. Since there are only a limited number of tables, the owners kindly inform you if it’s full. The food is incredibly delicious. You can ask for your steak to be well done, but the classic style is also excellent. The staff is very polite and the atmosphere is truly warm and welcoming.

JUST GO HERE! The food was amazinggg! 5 starts. It is all you want: •NEW FOOD (local french cuisine),•GREAT PRICE (compared to some other touristy places and in general), •BIG PORTIONS (we could barely finish all the food) One of the rare places that left us completely satisfyed! We will remember it. It just sat the bar higher! Bravo!

It was a difficult time to find a table. The blonde lady was very kind and she was the only one that accepted us serve us outside. Highly recommended very good wine and food.
